Elder Scrolls Online

There's only one reason they would close those forums, it's a poor way to damage control.

 

tbh, most mmos close forums between betas.

 

Depends, are you a Elder Scrolls or MMO fan? Sadly it fails at both.

 

Too bad, but not unexpected. I'm an TES fan, as I was (and still am) an SW fan, but I have a feeling that this game will be another SWTOR like fiasco.

 

I think the main issue with this is how hard they're trying to be different from every other MMO. Seems like they don't care about being better, as long as they're different. No way will this succeed.

 

I don't think it's really trying to be different than others that is the issue. I think that it's because it's trying to be Elder Scrolls as well as an MMO and falls short at both with the compromise.

 

How could've they made such a failure out of it..? I don't understand. How. can. you not.. make something.. COOL. Seriously normally these things kinda happen the man in charge doesn't usually know where to go or where his head leads him.

Out of the indecisiveness or confusion comes a game that feels... lackluster and incomplete, without direction. Just with teso I guess right now? On the other hand I feel like Wildstar is gonna turn out much better.. Just cause they're keeping it plain and simple, with one "simple" theme or unique design. That's usually all it takes.

Also shutting down the forums without telling anyone? ..... Damn dude. Seriously what a move. Don't they have any dignity and try to handle the situation and keep it under control? No matter the pressure you're BOUND to make something that people like AND YOU like yourself, you don't make the game for them, you make it for yourself, your own creation (well and then later for them) so why should you not stand by it?

Shutting down the forums is the worst move they could've done, seriously. Instead of moving upwards people move downwards.. That's a thing in history people keep repeating.

 

This does look kinda promising but then again I'm pretty not really a social gamer and play MMOs like single player games. This could be nice but animations need work.

 

I am more looking forward to exploring the world! Everything on one map. Either way if i get Beta invite i will be happy to test it!
