To manually install the AMD Graphics Driver in the Microsoft Windows operating system, follow these steps:

1. Unzip the file to a designated location or folder.
2. Click Start.
3. Right-click Computer > Manage. When prompted for permission from User Account Control, click Yes.
4. Select Device Manager from the navigation tab on the left.
5. Double-click Display Adapters.
6. Right-click the AMD Graphics Controller and click Update Driver Software.
8. Click Browse my computer for driver software.
9. Click Browse and select the directory where the driver files are located.
10. Click Next. Drivers are now being installed.
11. Reboot computer when prompted.

everyone can use microsoft catalog. they are newest and different drivers. but installation not with setup. generaly manual driver install.

dont fast reset after manual driver install because its installing c control panel at bacground.
and im thinking its released offical

 

when i only installed lastest hd 4000 driver

dxdiag shows wddm 1.3

when im installed anyone catalyst driver

dxdiag shows wddm 1.2

 

ok this method here might not do ,here is another way to do this ,go in device manager right click the graphic card you want to update etc .select one in the Microsoft proposed version (make sure you uninstalled with ms uninstall program thingy and restarted before doing what I mentioned ! once you have selected the newest ms propose it is highly likely you wont be at latest ,restart or shut computer and reopen it go update if you have the full window update thingy,when you ask window update for latest it should propose 13.251.0.0 (WDDM1.3) once updated restart again wait 3 minute before doing anything (yes anything) then go to window color system and you might or might not get popup if you do get a popup accept twice and you are all set ! you are uptodate the ms way and should have a way better experience , if you don't it probably wont be at your end but at the other user end !you cant get better quality then what people supply (rofl)

Hmm, is there any reason why that wouldn't work for a 7670M? Or is that (and other non-listed series) non-affected by the bug?

Edit: Ignore that, I missed the "Other notebooks with AMD/ATI GPU and Switchable Graphics / AMD Enduro™ technology" note.

So, I could just use this fix on-top of AMD's 13.12 driver on my laptop?

 

Probably does not seem to interact with the integrated graphics.

 

Just a few questions:

1. Could I use that fix on-top of drivers right from AMD (as long as AMD doesn't do anything to invalidate the fix, and as long as the driver is above 13.2)?

2. What do these modified/fix drivers do exactly, and why might I want to use them over AMD's driver? If my understanding is right:

- Modified = AMD Desktop Driver Modded with Mobility Support + Add Switchable Graphics Menu
- Fix = AMD Mobility Driver Modded to Add Switchable Graphics Menu

I'm not aware if there's anything more to these drivers or not, but if AMD's driver is fine for me (fine being the switchable graphics menu appears), do I need these drivers, or is there something more to them?

3. Do the fixed/mod drivers include that enduro fix?

4. Is there anywhere explaining what the enduro fix does exactly?

5. Do these drivers on this page or from Windows Update do anything different than the 13.12 WHQL from AMD? If anything, I noticed the HDMI driver isn't installed with the WU driver.

Hmm, so I applied the fix on-top of 13.12 Mobility from AMD, and don't have that new section in CCC. The fix program didn't mention any error or anything when applying the fix.

 

Output settings may vary depending on the hardware configuration. (or vBIOS)
