You are possibly on a wrong version. Rocket posted a while back if you can't open doors you are on a different version than the server.
After trying many different programs to record some game play of the standalone i finally got nvidia shadowplay to work and had pretty much zero fps loss, its well worth giving it ago, btw if your using windows 8.1 and get the red slash across the green record icon load up the game alt tab out and turn on and off shadowplay a couple of times and it seems to allow recording.
Great idea ****ing **** game atm. I spent 3-4 hours on this day, went for a bite to eat, came back and it was night-time. So i jumped servers a few times till i found one in daylight. When i did find one my char had gone with backpack food, water bandages, compass etc. Im like wtf......so i just wasted my time doing all that.....****in ****ty game, dont think ill bother with it atm.
It's an Alpha, what did you expect? Haven't encountered such game breaking bugs myself, besides the obvious flaws that are currently hindering a great experience. I must say i am pretty new to the franchise. Haven't played the Mod before and i just own the Standalone for a couple of days. It's pretty awesome and intense so far, even if it's quite stressing and hard at times. Seeing a build up character die because of Bandids or Infection is a pain in the ass. I like it!
Lol .. yeah I don't get the complaints. Unlike the WarZ jerks these guys gave a clear warning and then there's the Early Access label. Like the game? Tell others. Hate it? Tell the dev team.
This game pulled the reverse psychology trick on everyone it has a huge warning against buying the game and it is #1 the entire steam sale
