Not sure what some people are expecting, the clue to what you are going to get
is in the title. SteamOS. Designed for gaming, it isn't Windows or Linux.

Yeah, we all knew it was going to be mostly indie games and Valves own beforehand, it's not like anyone was being misleading.

Linux is not an OS anyway, Linux is the Kernel, so SteamOS will be Linux as much as Ubuntu is Linux

 

Many news sites say the 13th, steam usually updates at 1800 GMT, should be now then.

 

I mean in terms of a OS system. It's easier to associate it that way.
