I just wonder what on Earth the problem with the 7790 must be. It seems only ilogical all the problems with that card and latest instalments of Catalyst drivers.

Well, hopefully, AMD will launch a new driver set in a couple of days. I'm still with the 13.11 Beta 8 and with no major issues so far on my R9 280X.

    Greetings.

Wow, I was skeptical of this being an actual issue (vs. improper settings or leftover driver travails) -- however -- straight-up, V-sync is as broken as my achy-breaky heart. And even with RadeonPro forcing.

I've never seen this in a driver.

Further, games are crashing left and right like a woman in two-wheel drive.

    9.5 is a bugged mess :/

i have no issues with 9.5., radeon pro, or vsync.

9.5 is the best release in a long time...

I haven't had any issues with the drivers nor do i have any issues with radeon pro and vsync.

  7. I don't know if its bf4 that's the issue, or if its these 9.5 drivers but recently i've not been able to finish a round on multiplayer without it starting to get choppy for a few moments and then kicking me out.

Sounds like a memory leak but I haven't really done any testing or enabled an OSD to see for myself but is anyone else experiencing this? Sometimes it happens twice per map.

either way, it wasn't happening very often at all a couple weeks ago but now it is.

I am in the same boat. It worked fine with morphological filtering on until the last patch. Now it crashes 2 minutes within any multiplayer round. Sooner if morphological filtering is off.

Just installed this driver on my 7850 desktop; Vsync works perfectly with the two DX9 games I tried (osu! and Halo; framerate caps at refresh rate, added input latency, no tearing).

Yes, it's a CF issue. One user here with 3 cards gets capped at 180, my 2 cards cap at 120, if i disable crossfire, everything is back to normal. So practically, refresh rates just get summed up on a per-card basis whenever DX9 is used.
Apart from that, 13.11b9.5 is working perfectly here with every game i tried.

I wonder when the 13.12 WHQL driver with OpenCL 2.0 and Mantle support is coming?

Did AMD directly say the 13.12 driver would support both of those things?

Seeing as neither are available in 13.11 BETAs, I wouldn't expect them to arrive in a WHQL anytime soon.

I think it will get supported for 11.12 Beta, as BF4 will also supported Mantle in this month.

And yup, too fast to becoming 11.12 WHQL, except AMD very sure that Mantle will not causing large issues for driver.

Well, it would be nice if they released stable/final/WHQL/something version before the end of the year.

My guess is, they will release a WHQL by using this beta code+some more fix, then get the Mantle into Beta.
