Antec NSK 4480B II is a very basic, mid-tower case. It's not a chassis you'd want to shove high-end components into....or any reference based AMD cards....lol. An R9 290 or 290X would probably burn the paint off that mid-tower.
I googled the wrong case. This is the less II. http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Antec-NSK4480-Case-Review/541/1
I'm well aware. My mobo only has one PCI-E x16 so it wouldn't be able to handle any multi-card setup. Well that kills the crab I guess. By the time I need more power than two 760s can provide, I'd probably need one ore two new GPUs anyways.
No, there actually is a 760 mini from ASUS. Guru3d even did a review on it lol. When I went and bought my 760 I was looking for the mini but I was told it would have to be ordered in and I didn't feel like waiting as I am playing BF4 now so I got the regular version instead.
That is totally scientific... obviously there will be more post on a hardware forum of problems because if they were perfectly fine why would they post at all about it.
At the end of the day buying the Mars is going to be slower than buying 2x760's in sli and it will cost alot more money because its a MARS! Mars gpu's are known to be downclocked quite abit as well compared to the standard 760's cause basically the cooling on the MARS is average for the Huge price that you pay. There are benefits to the Mars though like taking up less physical space, will produce less heat and probably consume less power. It wont be as loud also as 2x760's in sli. The same could be said for the 690 compared to 2x680's in sli, the difference being that the 690 cost roughly the same as 2x680s (premium) and had an advanced Magnesium cooler which the MARS will not have. The benefit was that the 680's on the 690 were not downclocked as much because of the advanced cooler and the alloys that were used. The MARS will also cost a hell of ALOT more than the 2x760's. So in a nutshell is the MARS worth it? In my opinion it isnt, just because ASUS whack the MARS badge on it they charge much more for 2x760's that will have a considerable downclock. Waste of money in my opinion unless you have money to burn and are a MARS collector.
If that is the case then I am going to pass and probably get a Gigabyte 760 because I like the cooler on it and the price is reasonable.
Stock GTX760 clocks: Base: 980mhz Boost: 1033mhz MARS GTX760 clocks: Base: 1006mhz Boost: 1072mhz The MARS GTX760 actually has higher clocks than the stock GTX760 (or GTX760 SLI) and a dual GPU variant of the DCII cooler, which is better than "average"...
I was wrong, i didnt even look tbh, i just assumed it was like previous MARS cards. I shoulda looked first before posting, still will be a waste of money for the massive price that they put on it compared to 2x760's just because it has a MARS badge.
lol How did u know it was him anyway? That was some good spotting on ur part.. Were u aware was banned about 2yrs ago?
I did know, I was just wondering if you did too since you mentioned his username change when actually he was banned.
