Personnaly if they dont correct the stuttering/display jumping issue i'm experiencing on my 7970ghz (issue while switching 2d to 3d clock or something in relation) i wont be able to use drivers anymore, cant watch movie or net browsing without these jumps.

Bug introduced in 13.11 ... I'm not the only one, i saw 2-3 other people with a 7970 getting the same bug on that thread

    Come on AMD....

AC4 is so badly optimzed... GPU usage was hovering at 70% and only 1 cpu core maxed out? o,O, rest was at 20-25%. Horrible.

I think it should be some patch after released?
As you know, they also getting it on the Xbox one/PS4, so they should forced to support multi-core for PC too.

Same as AC3, ubisoft really don't like PC gamers.

I'm hearing nvidia and amd users complaining about bad performance.

I'm sorry I have no idea what this talk of uninstalling drivers is. Whenever an update comes out, I install it. In device manager, the newest driver is running my card. If there's a problem with the new driver, you can roll it back. What's the purpose of these clean installs, they don't do anything! I've never had trouble with AMD drivers, but then again I don't buy crap games of CoD Ghosts.

Huh i thought im the only one. Try using Radeon Pro v-sync and triple-buff. also i have set ''flip queue size'' at 1.
Turn off in-game ofc. It made my CPU usage better and more balanced between cores. This is only for Black Flag , in other AC games it don't help. Using 9.2beta

    .
Id been having this for a while on my 7970 but after i bumped my 2d clock speeds upto 320mhz (from default 300mhz) it went away

I now have a CCC 2d & 3d + oc profile that i switch in and out of for desktop/gaming

    for 2d i lock both min/max

    CoreClockTarget to 320

    MemoryClockTarget to 15000

    CoreVoltageTarget to 850

This removes the core clock jumping and small black boxes i was seeing in firefox when mouse scrolling, without this lock profile the GPU core will jump from 300-1000 sometimes at radom.

Ive read that AMD says its a mozilla FF issue & mozilla says its an AMD driver bug........round and round they go......just to say i didn't have any such issue's using FF with the Nv 570GTX my 7970 replaced. :3eyes:

Definitely the cake is a lie
I never had these issue before 13.11, and it occurs on firefox as well as videos like mkv & desktop browsing, so its definitely not a firefox issue.
Concerning the profiles you created, i uninstalled 13.11 and went back to 13.10. I dont think i want to load a profile each time i'm doing anything on my computer, but thanks for the help ! I'll wait for amd to get their finger out of their ***

VS 2012 Redistributable update 4, both x86 & x64 are out and I'm using them, but I don't understand why Catalyst installs update 1 anyway... I remove them from the package in order to avoid the clusterfck, but still I don't understand it.

Meanwhile the update 4 is compatible with update 1 but Catalyst install manager insists... I miss so much the perfect, nice, light, fully Windows native Nvidia Control Panel.

Nvidia just released a driver with quite nice improvements for some games:

    Code:
    GeForce GTX 770/780/TITAN/780Ti:
Up to 50% in Metro: Last Light
Up to 26% in Crysis 3
Up to 18% in Battlefield 4

I am wondering if AMD will release a driver any time soon?
