It's really very funny that nVidia doesn't even mention the existence of Battlefield 4 in their videos. All they talk about it Assassins creed and Batman.

 

It's because bf4 is an AMD game.

 

AMD probably does the same with nvidia powered games. Politics.

coudlnt play a 5 minutes of game. keep crashing..FCK U DICE.

 

u cleaned out drivers with driver sweeper or ddu? (in safe mode)

I managed to play for 3 hours straight with no problems this morning, while yesterday it was a mess. Hmmm...

I also just had one of the most awesome wtfpwnbbq moments in my whole BF "career". I was repairing a little bird heli when I suddenly noticed a jet flying by, I pulled out my SMAW and fired...BOOOM full hit vehicle destroy and kill. All of this happend while both the heli and jet were not standing still. Such a shame I didn't record this, I felt my e-peen grow by 1 cm.

I cant join any servers.


When I click join server the blue bar comes up saying joining server but nothing happens.

I've reinstalled punkbuster and battle log pluggin no joy. Problem started yesterday.

Any ideas?

Mr. Bigtime is asking how to counter knife He tried to knife some guy and got knifed instead.

 

Tell him to not knife from the front, that gives the opponent a counter-knife option. Side and back are ok.

and i must say FUN game. i eman u play not for kills but points. i dont get alot of 30 kills. mostly above 12 but much points. like in 4 o 6 in the list.

yep i was gonna add mrbigtime battlefields tend to be pretty sensitive re your oc's. not sure why this is as no other game crashes due to oc (on the gpu).

still worth lowering just in case.

p.s whats with all this knifing? tut tut..learn to shoot damm bashi bazouks..

 

Proper testing is crucial for overclicking. Never had issues that way.
Prime custom, Pi 32M, Memtest86 and 3D Mark are a great combo.

 

Vet, which cpu are you going for?

Before my pc broke i was able to run the game rock solid at 4.4 ht on. It was the cpu unparking and couple of DICE patches that fixed the game for me. Like ive said before time and time again years ago if your stable in Linx, Occt, IBT and Prime 95 then your PC will be stable in any game. Just because you can play Crysis for 6 hours does not mean that your PC is stable and it shows as it has done in this thread.

I have not played the game lately so i wouldnt know how its gonna perform since the last few patches that DICE have released.


@Darrensimmons....if you mean the 2nd hand board i just purchased from ebay then ill use my 930 that is if its still working. Wont know till i get the board.

As for the new x79 ill get a 4820 and then when Rpggamesplayer upgrades to Haswell-E sometime in 2014 ill get first offer on his 4930k, so ill purchase that from him when the time arrives.
