LeeKm driver report. from war thunder game

13.9 catalyst, 13.10, 13.11 betas. all of same ---------->

[ warthunder win7+ debug option(default) = ~like 45 fps with stuttering
warthunder vista debug otion = ~like 40 fps without stuttering but not realy stabile ]

13.152.1.1000 windows update driver ----------->


[ warthunder win7+ debug option(default) = like 35 fps. extra not: game like fully stabile and when used alt+tab i can see little blinking first time when turn back to game

when i used endurofix dx9 patch with this driver. extra no blinking when used this patch

EXTRA:

in stuttering condition

radeon pro showing ~75 fps game showing ~50

when i changed cpu affinity from system monitor for game exe performance fps changing in 35 to 50 ( and sluttering reduce )

but if i not use patch. ( win.up. driver default and no stuttering.... when i changed affinity gam fps not changing.

 

Is there any way for overclocking the gpu?

Saphire trixx or MSI afterburner won't work anymore with Windows 8.1. In my laptop, at least.

Can I enable overdrive in CCC? If yes, how is it done?

 

It looks that there is something wrong on Windows 8.1.
Sometimes when switching from Intel to AMD I get BSOD or Black screen and restart

 

Welcome to the club This has been going on for a very long time, even on Windows 7 since the release of 13.4. On Windows 7, I found out that a combination of newer Intel drivers (3062 and after) and Catalyst 13.4 or newer causes random BSODs while switching from Intel to AMD and back. On Windows 7, the solution was to use either 2559 of the Intel driver, or Catalyst 13.3 beta or older.
On Windows 8.1, I am not sure if that will work, I just avoid using manual switching altogether.

 

The same here with windows 8.1. Radomly switching option crashes.

But i'm facing that since 13.2 driver until 13.11 with windows 7.

Anyone who knows how to overclock in windows 8.1?

 

I didn't have this problem on windows 7 (yes, sometimes I wasn't able to switch, but no BSOD or restart...)

For me MSi afterburner works (you must unlock unofficial overclock), but you must be in "fixed" mode in CCC....
But OSD disappeared

 

But msi doesn't allow me to modify the CFG file. How can I do it? I have already uninstalled it and without openning it tried to modfy it.

And what do you mean with fixed mode?

I have this option also under settings inside Afterburner (3.0.0 beta16)

Fixed mode mean, that the switching is made by power source, not by app...

 

I was able to overclock my GPU in the application-based switching mode by launching a 3D application (any windowed 3D game) before running MSI Afterburner. It's a bit inconvenient, but at least it works. Been doing that for a while and haven't felt the need to go back to fixed mode ever since.

 

Just found that option in MSI settings menú. Now I have my gpu overclocked. Thanks!

I'm Reading about that fixed mode.

I see that in fixed mode you must restart the computer for switching, so I'm not in fixed mode xD and overclocking works great here.

 

Nope, you don't need to restart PC to switch graphics (I don't mean fixed option in bios).
Only the screen flash when the graphic changes and you are not able to change graphic when some 3D app is running.

But I have better FPS in this "by power source" mode...

 

How do I know if I'm on fixed mode?

Should i use LeeKM's driver or it is unnecessary for me ?

 

If you change it manually then you probably are.
Otherwise the gpu is changed by app...

Of course you can find it in CCC (use advanced view)

 

If offcial works for you then no...

 

FYI, it is completely possible to switch between Mux and MuxLess modes on some systems. My HP Pavilion dv6-6135dx has a modded BIOS available that allows setting it up to support both application-specific (MuxLess) switching and fixed-mode (Mux) switching right from within Windows. The advantage to using the MuxLess system is that it allows for Dual Graphics, but that's only in DX10 and DX11 games anyways, so if I want to play a DX10 or DX11 game I'll just flip on the application-specific setting. As long as you know how to follow directions you shouldn't have any problems flashing a modded BIOS...

 

LeeKM regarding BF4. do you have any idea any idea how to fix stuck on loading screen and sometimes Directx error in BF4? Im using your LeeKM 13.11 beta8 driver. tnx 4 reply:frown:

 

If you have windows 8.1 which is on non-english setting,
You must change system locale to English(us)

 

Im sorry i forgot to mention that im on windows 7 64 bit.
