Best driver for GTX 670 and Battlefield 4?

Hey guys,

I'm using latest 331.65 drivers win Win 8.1 x64 to play Battlefield 4 but i'm getting random game freezes with sound loop with my GTX 670.

Can anyone advise me a better driver?

Do you have 2 gb or 4 gb vram? I was crashing when I overclocked the vram and increased resolution scale. Try lowering it to 100% or lower OC.

I have a 2GB GTX 670

I'm playing the game at low settings, 100% resolution (default) and my graphic card is not overclocked at all.

Still having the problem.

I'll try to downgrade to 331.58

 

Those issues are non-related to your gfx driver. 331.65 is the best driver for bf4. This is also recommended by BICE technical chief (or whatever his title is) Johan Anderson.

 

Everybody is having audio drop out's on some maps. Hopefully fixed soon.

 

yeah, the audio is really messed up, many sounds are missing completely!

 

Use the latest 331.65 driver. It's best for 670 and also this driver fixes some annoying texture flickering.

 

It does only fix it on some of the maps though. On others it looks like the LOD was totally broken.
Quite the mess.
