I got one mouse freeze for a few seconds with Firefox HW acceleration enabled, but I left them installed. Display went to sleep and wouldn't wake up again though. Wasn't able to get a dmp file either

    Few of these
However one of the dump files is 600mb+ in size no way I can email that, unless someone from Nvidia wants me to upload to dropbox and send a link

Either way these don't help because even after a restart the system feels very sluggish and even Firefox was struggling to change pages like the BBC news froze for a moment.
Also the cursor will freeze and become very slow to respond then I finally got the BSOD while on collecting info for that the display gave me an artefact and had to reset

Just go to Nvidia forum, and PM ManuelG, I think he will want you to send the kernel dump.
    ---
And, if you using winrar or similar software to zip the file, you will found out the size is 300MB, you can just upload it to Dropbox in night etc.

This is one of the ways you helping them to fix the crash/BSoD, even it will wasting your time. :)

Did you try a little higher cpu voltage/NB voltage and loosen adv timings a bit?
Because some drivers ARE more cpu /sys ram sensitive and usually a tinny voltage bump fixes it and small ram timing tweak - marked in bold.

I remember my old Q9450 was quite picky anything over 442mhz FSB, with a few 0x124 bsod or system sound highpitch freeze (only in games), but then I found this
    http://home.exetel.com.au/seasalt/Overclock.html
and it helped me a lot, trick was mostly in cpu skew and gtlr
I could run ram like so at 1090mhz
    adv timings:
    tRRD: 5
    tWTR: 6
    tWR: 10
act to act refresh tRFC: 83 >> 70-78 for 1066-1080mhz
    tRTP: 8 [/] >> 6 or 7
    Performance Level:7
    Phase adjust - auto
    cmd. rate: 2t

    skew, driving
    800mv
    cpu skew- 50ps
    mch skew- normal

    *GTLR1: -3%
    *GTLR2: normal

Dont get me wrong, Im just saying there might be a possibility its more then just driver fault. Idk worth a try, it helped me back then every time a more "system stressful" driver appeared :)

It just froze with a blue screen, but it didn't create a dump file for some reason

All settings were at their defaults, too

LOL a dump file of 600mb.

Most or all dump files are tekst files most of them are kb

i never had a blue screen what i know it that most blue screens are caused by hardware problems like bad memory.

The freeze problem is with the 400/500 serie cards with firefox installed.

other problems have noting to do with this driver test.

its not just firefox, but firefox seems to trigger it for sure. Mouse corruption, desktop freezes, black screens, hard lockups etc... not usually blue screens. But blue screens can be caused by driver issues as well.

It froze for a while before the blue screen, but I have had just freezes with no blue screen before, with drivers after 314.22 along with Firefox hardware acceleration being enabled

In the beginning of this year nvidia had a driver problem that caused blue screens if i remember correcly it was with the 600 serie.

i installed the test driver at 10:00 and no freezes/TDR so far.

Why does it have the same name as the Nvidia GeForce 331.58 WHQL drivers?

Yeah I just used Winrar to compress at the highest settings so It's now down to about 100mb, I'll PM ManuelG on here (he was online early on) and the file is already uploaded to dropbox

Thanks but the system is stable minus these recent drivers, I have the memory so the ram/fsb ratio is 1:1; the issues I encounter are only during using the desktop/firefox only one driver caused a crash in game not sure which version but it crashed Crysis Warhead on the menu

314.22 seems to be stable atm for me and others, thanks anyway

Like I said one of the dump files are 600mb now about 100mb with another that is 250kb, if the larger one helps it helps and if it doesn't then it doesn't matter

314.22 has the interesting issue of not working with battlefield 4 at all.
