Regular uninstall, restart to safe mode.
CleanUP and Driver Cleaner, DDU, Driver Fusion, restart.
    Regular install.

Has always worked before, going to revert back to 6.3, as 6.4 also doesn't install the driver.

    Same problem as Ruslu.

    The error i'm getting is:

"The AMD VISION Engine Control Center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your AMD adapter using the Displays Manager."

The UPD is a special build if you follow your own recipe the driver will not install correctly. The only time you can use other cleaners is if you are planning on installing a new driver. However if you choose to upgrade your driver then all you need to do is run the cleaners included in the UPD build. BTW I recommend using the 10.2 Legacy driver by installing it through device manager as I'm not sure if the UPD build supports the last 6.3 driver.

    10.2 Legacy x64Bit
    10.2 Legacy x32Bit

Try Defaulting your Driver to the WDDM driver. Then run both included Cleaners and proceed to installing the driver.

I always do a complete uninstallation to previous drivers, I never update them directly.
6.3 working like a charm atm.

I don't think AMD had an Upgrade Option since drivers are installed ontop. Plus the UPD build does do cleaning to a certain extent so there is no conflict between the currently installed driver and the UPD build when upgrading.

I've encountered one more error. Now when i run the second part of driver cleaner from dx switcher folder, my keyboard does not respond, when cmd asks do I want to reboot (in safe mode, as well as in normal mode). So I have to do a hard reset. My keyboard is a simple Hp usb. I do not mind doing a hard reset, but does this mess up anything in the cleaning process?

No it should not as all services are re-launch on reboot.

    UPDATED CLEANERS

    Notes
-Updated the Driver Cleaner as attempt to resolve a bug in which the Cleaner would conflict with the WDDM Driver.
    -Updated PnpLockdown Permissions and Cleaning.
-Included a backup Driver Store Cleanup
-Updated the driver cleaner as an attempt to correctly load the basic display driver during uninstalling the driver.
-Updated Package Cleaner to resolve a bug in which users may
experience Catalyst Control Center working after installing ancient drivers.
-Updated the Package Cleaner to Clean registries that were left behind .

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
-The Non UPD Build Cleaner will now Default the Display Driver to the Basic Adapter. If Users want to re-install the WDDM 1.1 Driver you should go to Device manager and choose Update driver then automatically update using the internet.
-This Update Resolves a bug causing the Package Cleaner Not to Clean
-This Update include a basic killing of services.

Microsoft drive enforcer conquered. You Sir did a good job. Installed everything as you suggested, and everything seems to be working. I will try to test for problems to best of my abilities.

On a side note, AMD should definitely put you on their payroll. At least ship you some supa dupa hardware for your efforts...

    Hello everyone.
This has surely been discussed before but i have a question. I have a hp g62 a25eo with amd m880g 4250 and 5470. I recently installed Windows 8.1 and i cant get anything to work. I cant install the hp offical driver for Windows 7 from 2010. How do i get These driveris to work? I have read the "how-to" but it wont work. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? A step by step guide would be great if its not to much to ask for.

    Thanks!

I'm having alot of permission issues.

The cleaners doesnt seem to work properly since I get about a billion access denied messages in cmd, and when I try running the driver setup file, it tells me
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item" then deletes the file...

I have tried just about everything!
Disabled my anti-virus, no uac, full ownership of folder still access denied.

Any ideas what might cause this?

Ok walk me through the steps you took to install the driver.
What cleaner contained the access denied message?
Are you attempting to install the driver using a guest account or an account with limited control?

Before running and setup, does the display adapter gets displayed in device manager when attempting to view it?

    Alright.
Firstly, I am using an admin account with uac turned off, also any kind of anti-virus program turned off.
I started off by running the aSimple Cleanup Utility witch gives me this error http://i.imgur.com/T07KrBG.png
If I close the winrar error message, it proceeds to run something that looks like this http://i.imgur.com/6ecBOf6.png

And the exact same thing happends when I try running the aSimple Driver Cleaner

    Yes, it does. http://i.imgur.com/YEOWWS2.png
Guessing it's because I can't run the aSimple things.

And you said you tried taking full ownership of Temp?

That won't change even if the cleaner works (UPD Build does not remove the currently installed device as it's necessary for upgrading it.), I'm making sure it's available because it can cause install problems.
