Its really bad how this game has been so poorly supported if you bought the GOG version, the game is still sitting on the 1.0.2 update. Wont bother with GOG again, Steam seems the only solution these days.

Loving the game though, but play it in short bursts, seems like it could get repetitive quiet quickly.

Steam is useful but developers seem to prioritize it above most other platforms, I'm in the same situation with a few Desura games where only the Steam version is being updated.
(Though thankfully you can request keys via Desura to other platforms if supported or download the game stand-alone though that's usually a even older build.)

Through Chapter 2 I started to get some real performance issues... A real buzz killer. So I dropped it... What the hell it was really fun but the throttling fps is bs :3eyes::3eyes::3eyes:

try updating you driver to a modded driver for mobile GPU.
and lower your setting to low - mid graphics settings.

    The DLC is out.
    http://store.steampowered.com/app/255520/

However the game itself has yet to update so I don't think the content is available in-game yet.

EDIT: Looks like I was wrong, this is a new game and not a DLC or add-on to the existing one.
(EDIT: And it's using UE3, somewhat of a total-conversion of Viscera Cleanup Detail then.)

    EDIT: Images.

Visceral Cleanup Detail is ridiculously silly not to mention utterly pointless in an amusing way. It's interesting really only to see the game's levels done on a different engine, in this case Unreal Engine 3. The game, if you can call it that, is in beta and has scant few options. However, I created a profile for the game that forces 16X AF, 4xMSAA/4xSGSSAA and v-sync here if anyone wants it:

Profile "Visceral Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior"
    ShowOn GeForce
    ProfileType Application
Executable "viscera cleanup detail shadow warrior/binaries/win32/udk.exe"

A 1 GB patch just for that?!?

I love this game but I'm really disappointing with the in-game AA as no matter whether I choose FXAA (the best of the three IMO), 2xFSAA or 4xFSAA, they're all barely adequate at removing the jaggies so it has a rough look to it. A shame really as the graphics are otherwise really good. I've been unable to find a working AA flag for the game either despite it being a DX9 engine. It's somewhat ironic that I found a working AA flag for Visceral Cleanup Detail within a minute because that uses Unreal Engine 3 and, IMO, looks about on par with Shadow Warrior itself graphically!

Yes that near-last change about fixing the audio in the cutscenes changed the archive file containing all the movies so since that was nearly 1GB of data and most of the content was changed that's why the update is so big. :)

Future patches should be much smaller.

Hello, the new sli profile for Shadow Warriors is totally broken when enters the scene mirror effects, it seems that this profile gives very good performance if not for this ****.
    I'm using 331.54 drivers.

Anyone playing this game on crossifre 7970s or 7990? How is performance/ crossfire support? I'm thinking about getting it now that it's 75% off on steam.

Just buy it! $10 for this game is a win IMO.

I have exactly the same thing with a GTX 780. The game is super smooth when i stand still and move the mouse but stutters when strafing with the keyboard.

Try to lower repeat rate and delay from keyboard settings in control panel.

Well, in one way it's kind of good you quoted that post... because... it shows that none of that stuff is in the game and Shadow Warrior is awesome.

But, then again, the hell does anything having to do with GBX and DNF have to do with this?
I don't see how GBX spending over 20 million of their own to buy the IP, then more money to finish the game... is "cashing in" on a game tons of people wanted to play.
I also don't see what it has to do with anything being discussed in this thread?

    Well, Shadow Warrior is awesome.

And DNF wasn't a re-imagining... it was a direct sequel.
