CPU Is also very important in BF4, keep in mind this could also just be a game or driver issue, I've seen people with 680s and 690s who only get 5-15 fps on lowest settings.

Try some different (older) drivers, and of course try the newest too.

Also, Windows 8 is recommended, and seems people with Windows 7 get some stuttering W8 users do not experience.

i use windows 7 64bit works fine 4 me with bf4 gaming @5900 x 1080 @ 60fps by the way love the game.....:speed:

 

Your specs are extremely low so yeah I'd say that was about right.

Try turning down the internal resolution slider from 100% to 50%

680 here all ultra with medium AA no msaa I get 70+ fps

 

Are you on windows 7 or 8? My backup rig with a 2500k @ 4.5 and a 770 lightning is a studdering mess unplayable.

It was same for me on 7 so I installed 8.1 works perfect now.

on this partition i'm not be able to play but on the old, laking of tons of updates i was,....if only i could know which is the update that fails the game i could play jere too.
the other partition is on an old hdd ,here i'm on ssd

 

They are working on a patch for Windows 7 users, so yeah, that's not abnormal. The game runs like butter for me in 8: a solid 60 FPS on ultra settings save for one or two things. I believe I turned down effects and post.

 

Sorry but no way will I buy a $140 OS that I don't want to use to play one game DICE will not get my money till this is fixed.

 

That's cool I personally wouldn't pay that for any os either. As the person above said a patch is in the works and should be released real soon.

GF 525m is made for the simplest of games, not for battlefield.

 

Agreed, this thread is useless, as I am impressed OP has as much performance as he does with that card?

 

I didn't say that everyone would have issues, in fact I shouldn't even have said I've seen more than one person with this issue, there is a rather 'popular' YouTuber who was doing a lives.t.r.e.a.m (apparently it's a banned word, okay.) at Twitch, and he tested both his 680 and 690, both got horrible FPS in BF4, but did 60-70+ on Ultra on BF3. He tried multiple drivers, all had the same horrible performance.


"Sp00nerism" was who I was talking about.


Also, in your case, you're using an AMD, in which I believe the game is optimized for.

Personally, in BF4 I usually get around 50-65 FPS, all on High except textures are on Ultra.

I'm getting OK performance on Windows 7.
CPU usage seems to max out at what task manager says is "35%", GPU usage sort of fluctuates, FPS is 55-80 running around and it looks pretty smooth, which isn't too bad really. Do not want Windows 8 just for 1 game...

 

There is something very wrong with the beta almost 100% cpu and 50% gpu???? BF3 is 40% cpu and 95 % gpu on my system....
