Battlefield 4 in October 2013?

Meh, after BF2 I found PR and never looked back until BF3 came out. I gave it a shot, absolutely hated it and now have moved on to better things.

It's funny hearing complaints about servers with no teamwork or coordination, hacking, TK'ing etc....
It's an arcade game...did u guys really think it was going to be different to BF3? Or how BF2 was at the end when 13yo wallhackers took over the E.A servers?

If you want serious shlt with proper admins, no hacks, no 14yo fuctards, proper squads using voip, HUGE maps, 30-40 player firefights and 100 players who can't tell the difference between a game and actual war..... look at ArmA or PR.....not Battlefield Of Duty or Call Of Battlefield.. (c wat I did there)

 

how would you know Pill? It's not like you even play bf4 it's what you make it. if you play as a team, it's great. I don't need 100 players to have fun. It's the same with racing sims. I'd rather race against a mate all day long, just the 2 of us, of roughly same ability and we'd have great races. I'd take that over a full field of wankers.

BF4 is really good, you wouldn't know that, so I don't know why you're judging The least you can do is give it a go.

Nah I got burned with BF3 I don't think 4 will be much different tbh...and the silly weapon upgrades/unlocks like AA missiles for jets and other aspects I hated still remain....so yeah..

Besides, I don't need to play it - the negative comments in this thread paint a pretty clear picture. Thanks for saving me $100.

 

when /where can we download the free open beta when it goes live? will it show in origin?

 

I thought you already had Windows 8 installed? Why don't you just buy the upgrade and enter the key when you get it?

 

If you have bf3, it'll show up where your expansions are located in Origin. Otherwise, just search the store for it.

Didn't you say amazon had the upgrade for less than that? if so, then just torrent a W8 RTM and activate it once you get your upgrade key. That's what I did.

 

If i buy upgrade edition of Win 8, does it mean its only upgrade from 7 or can i do a clean install as well? Wouldnt mind installing it on my laptop, dual boot with Linux

 

Yeah, but Amazon sell w8 dvd so I'd have to wait till Saturday delivery and I'm busy all weekend, really wanted to get it all done today that's why I was looking for key only.

Well that's why I said to torrent a RTM. You can install a generic key to install it or use a .cfg to bypass a key input and just activate it at a later time when you do get the key. It's really your call. I'm just letting you know the easiest way so you're not waiting.

 

I'm sure many many bf4 folks will be doing the same, it's what i'd do personally, until i should have the funds for a new OS at least.

In settings for AUDIO options there is something call VOIP. What does it do? I t was not in BF3.
