    Yes, I tried 130% and i noticed obvious fps drop & mouse lag, although it looked very nice.. 110% felt a lot smoother.

    Anyone with problems with BF4, dont forget that BF4 is a Gaming Evolved (AMD) game, so dont be so chocked if the game runs like **** on NV Gfx cards?! ;)

    lol.

    Gotta laugh @ the folks moaning about Gen 3 :grin:

    Would anyone ever notice a difference? Nope. Most top cards don't even saturate Gen 2, but its funny though, lol. :)

    Nice drivers, so far.

    Sometimes it can help by higher resolutions.

    About RIFT
    well now it ran ok, I was in ShimmeringSands? land and it didnt hickup one bit (it was a stuttering mess one day earlier).. Im not sure did reinstalling 331.40 driver fix it or because i lowered detail objects a bit - now there is more frequent distant objects popup.

    Code:
    [Video]
    AnisotropicFiltering = 0
    AntialiasMode = 0
    AO = True
    AutoAdjustSettings = False
    CloakMode = 3
    DetailObjectsEnabled = True
    FullscreenFXEnabled = True
    Gamma = 0.960000
    GroundClutterDensity = 6
    GroundClutterRadius = 130
    LegacyRenderer = False
    LightingComplexity = 1.000000
    MaxLOD = 3
    MaxShaderLOD = 10
    MinShaderLOD = 10
    MipFilter = 2
    MultipassTerrainEnabled = True
    ObjectDetail = 150
    ObjectDrawDistance = 200
    OverrideGamma = True
    PixelGranularity = 1.000000
    ProjectedTexturesEnabled = True
    QualityPreset = 5
    ResolutionX = 1920
    ResolutionY = 1080
    settingsInitialized = True
    ShadowMapResolution = 1
    ShadowMode = 2
    SimpleTerrainShader = False
    TerrainDetail = 6
    TerrainDrawDistance = 6
    TextureQuality = 3
    VFXLimit = 650
    VSyncEnabled = False
    WindowMode = 1

    So far im "ok" with it.

    EDIT: I also disabled use plaformclock true, so maybe it was all 3.

    Add to that the 8 million dolar that AMD payed to dice to make it run "good" on GTX and make AMD card looks like they took too much XL. :D

    TBH I was surprised that it ran as well as it did on my system. The only problems I have is some IQ issues and occasional stuttering due to insufficient VRAM (Ultra @ 1200p).

    327.23 is working flawlessly for me with BF4 on 4GB 670 SLI (680 pcb/cooler, oc'd). I tried 331.40 since I wanted the newest BF4 profile/optimizations, but I can't figure out how to disable the UEFI FastBoot on my MSI Z68A-GD65 G3 board... there seems to be no option in the BIOS anywhere regarding it whatsoever, and the 331.40's are crashing on me in SLI within minutes otherwise. Played for around 5 hours this past day over two sessions and had a lot of fun, textures/framerate/etc. were perfect/high respectively. No visual issues or crashes so far, other than needing to update punkbuster as a one-time thing.

    Just like BF3 if you leave "Effects" on Ultra, it bogs down hugely during explosions/smoke/other major VFX, while not looking much better at all. I run that setting on Medium, with post-process high, texture high, everything else Ultra and HBAO with FXAA low, MSAA off, looks amazing and runs 90-100fps most of the match for me then with brief periods of 70-80ish. I'm running 2560x1440 110hz, and the 670 4GB's are oc'd to 1215c/6900m.

    Thanks, that is slick!

    Same here. It's often poor Overclocks that aren't actually stable, or crap ware running and bad user configuration. Not that there are never issues but most people's aren't the drivers fault....

    Oh god not that old chesnut again!

    If drivers were never at fault, then we wouldn't need "BUG FIXES" :3eyes:

    Did you even read what was posted before yelling? I said "it's often user error..." and then this:

    in context of the drivers being at fault.

    Its kinda wierd but when I tried reverting back to 327.23whql, BF4 Beta runs a bit better than with the 331.40Beta. I have the same average fps of 40~60 (due to my old 560ti) but the heavy stuttering is gone. The 331.40Beta is still a good driver, except for BF4 on my PC... Just sharing.

    From what I've read Windows 8 garners a 20% performance increase over Windows 7 in BF4, so bear that in mind. Something to do with DirectX 11.1 stuff.

    As I wrote, it is a rather old config I used for an ATI HD5870, with my later cards I maxed those out.

    Regarding AO, check the cards temperatures with and without, also it drops fps hard as soon as a lot is going on.

    As for the s t r e a m ing, have you tried to either create links to a ramdisk or use something like FancyCache?

    I think all this problems are for some cards, in my case i can say when i start to play BF4 i get a lot of stuttering up and down performance not matter what kind of settings you put ultra and so on same **** so i decided up date to the latest beta drivers and all get gone no more problems no more **** yeah i still have all the bugs from the game but is a beta one so i hope they fixed soon . And i get noticed its a lot of empty servers today i just think will get full when they open the beta for all lets see.
