Battlefield 4 in October 2013?

Hit detection is very nice, seems pretty solid.

 

Game play so far seems to be big improvement over BF3 :

-hit box
- sniper rifles , much better feel.
- tanks harder , faster, more meaningful
- harder to hit someone but when you hit you actually kill.
- overall dynamic , game seems to be more fluent and i don't mean FPS.

 

Nope my OC is rock solid stable, tested with OCCT (linpack, AVX enabled) 90% memory usage for six hours and never goes above 74C (temps were 74, 72, 69, 70). My GPU is rock solid as well, tested for two hours in Kombuster 99% usage and GPU with an aggressive fan profile and some new IC Diamond paste never went over 66C. During games for instance BF4 after a long session highest reported temps in AB are 48C!

So no, nothing to do with overclocks at all. It only happens when I ALT+TAB out of the game.

 

For me all Medium Settings at 1366x768 no aa... lag fest stutter 20 to 50fps very sharp ups up and down

Anyone want to tell me why DICE is including the China Rising map with Premium when you get it with both the Standard and Digital Deluxe version? So instead of paying for 5 maps, we're really paying for just 4 and some special privileges and content.

 

I feel that the damage is high on the guns and that there is hardly any recoil which means more kills. Im unsure wether its a good or bad thing. Also i find you can literally go on full auto and kill quite easily without having to fire in bursts. It will be interesting to see what changes they have planned in the next few weeks.

 

Try some of the SMG's.. there is recoil.. Quite hard to hit targets at range with SMG due to the recoil.

I recorded shooting down a heli with rocket.. hahahaha.. Gonna try uploading it now.

 

I like it. You can deny a whole street with just two guys if you really want to. Unless a tank/apc comes.

 

Are there just 2 weapons for each class in the beta?

 

Yeah, Scar is pretty messy to aim with.

Also OT, but you really need to replace that Jeantech PSU are some point, they are horrible. Did you buy it from PC World?

 

Sound in BF4 is a HUGE improvement over BF3.

nice. funnily enough just got one 2...makes all those deaths and misses playing as sniper class worthwhile.

having a terrible time finding anywhere to snipe without some guy appearing from nowwhere and blasting me. plus hardly anyone stays still long enough for a decent shot as most are running about like headless chickens

 

China Rising is only available for the DD edition and the standard edition as a pre-order bonus, once the game has launched you will have to buy it separately.

So, if you buy the game after it launches you will have to buy either China Rising or buy Premium and get it included with it.

They have improved over BF3, cant quite say what tho. It feels better. Also playing as a squad is so much more fun. I and Eclap owned earlier!

Ok I enabled logitech perf. cpu monitor on lcd and I see im mostly at 40-60%, not 70-80% like i said before, guess it was because of alt+tab.


Also the game runs quite smooth, even with only 1280mb vram @ ultra., ok there are a few str3aming parts but nothing obvious, Im gonna try textures @ high if it smooths things out

postAA at low since it has the least blur.


But the biggest perf killer for has to be MSAA, HBAO and for some reason postprocess and effects @ ultra.
