1-GTA vice city(open world 80's style action,never been better)
2-call of duty 1(world war 2 fps simulation at it's best).
3-Pro evolution soccer 5(the best in the series).
4-max payne(noir style-combo gameplay).
5-far cry(original,top notch graphics for it's time).
6-bioshock(nb1 in story telling).
7-portal-portal 2(creative masterpiece).
8-deus Ex Human revolution(great mix rpg-fps).
9-just cause 2(fun open world explosive action).
10-colin mcrae dirt.

I guess I'm the only person that likes Dota2

 

Vice City was released in 2002 and Max Payne was released in 2001, 2 of your top 5 weren't even released in this decade, have games over the past 10 years been really that bad? I notice other people doing these lists doing the same thing- Diablo II (2000) Gothic 2 (2002) Age of empires 2 wasn't even released in the 00s (1999).. Seriously guys- has 2003-2013 been really that terrible for games? I lean towards yes, while there were many stand outs, not as nearly as say 1989-1999 had.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Game of the Year Edition -- the GOTY was in 2003

Far Cry 1 (only had room for on FC game and that was the best considering the era it came out in)
