If we look at past AMD influenced games from Tomb Raider to the new Rome 2, all Nvidia owners have had extreme trouble getting it to run stable/fix the glitches... so I am wondering, should Nvidia owners be worried this is going to be a growing trend since all next gen consoles are favoring AMD programming?

This has got nothing to do with the two gfx card vendors. A crap console port will be crap on both gfx card systems majority of the time.

Take batman ac for example, ran like crap on most nvidia systems for 6 months straight and that was a twimtbp or whats ya ma call it. Driver issue or dev issue?

Im gonna go with dev issue.

    Quite simply, my good sir....

    A $hit port will always be a $hit port.

That clears up the ports question, let's say something does go wrong like Rome 2 on a more re-occurring basis though since AMD has more influence now. Nvidia still does not have a fix for Rome 2 out, and it has been out for a bit now... :/

I don't think it will be a problem. NVidia and AMD run separate code paths..

A Gaming Evolved title might put more focus on optimizing for AMD right off the bat, but eventually, whether through patches and or driver updates, NVidia manages to catch up and even exceed AMD.

Good examples are Far Cry 3 and Bioshock Infinite. Both games were G.E titles that ran faster on AMD hardware initially, but now run faster on NVidia hardware.

AMD's lead in Tomb Raider has all but vanished as well.

Same thing with TWIMTBP games. Metro Last Light ran like **** on AMD hardware at first, but after patches and driver updates, now it runs great.

Thanks Carfax, good to know. Been considering selling my 7950 and going 760 SLI, because I own every game that uses Physx pretty much, and it just seems a waste to not be using it.

Dude are you trolling, why in god’s name would it continue and to claim all nvidia owners had trouble is pretty big.

Tomb Raider ran fine on Nvidia hardware, it just wasn't on Day 1.
This has been happening to AMD users for years with TWIMTBP games.

AMD have been doing a fantastic job the last year though when it comes to supporting games though.

i haven't had trouble with tomb raider even though my system is old, ran very nicely considering the specs i have, but a console port sh** is something like sniper ghost warrior 2, and gta 4, those are S**ty console ports
