Btw for anyone getting to level 50, you get your job specific artifact gear at levels 45 and 50 as part of a job quest. So don't bother grinding dungeons for equipment later on (unless you want to), you'll just be switching it out for the AF gear at 45.
Here are some pictures. Box with sleeve Box without Sleeve Inside (Game disc which also contains a Bluray movie on disc & Art book and of course the security keyfob) Under the game box (postcards & soundtrack) Side by side with a WOW collectors box Hope that helps you out with the size and quality etc.
There's really no disputing this. As a Gladiator/Paladin, doing a dungeon is work. It's fun for me, but I am the leader of every group by default and it is a lot to handle. Marking targets, pulling safely, positioning mobs, managing agro, etc. Healers are stressful as hell, too. DPS just run around and attack. They have to stay out of red zones, but that's about it.
That's what a ****ty DPS does. Aggro management is a group activity. If all of the DPS are attacking whatever-they-want instead of coordinating their attacks with the tank, the tank's job becomes much more difficult and does the healer's. DPS also need to focus their attacks on particular enemies in particular situations otherwise they're wasted space. Take the Ifrit encounter for instance, if the DPS do not switch to and attack the Infernal Nail the entire group will wipe as a result.
Thanks for the tip Had no idea about this. I was ready to do some dungeon farming this evening actually though I'm not 45 just yet. Market prices for 44+ gear is quite expensive (5-40k Gil per piece). Any other helpful tips?
i shall agree with this strongly. Game looks awesome. maybe best looking but GW2 is far more better than this. i learned from the hard way.
IDK. I played GW2 from Headstart, pretty much finished the game in two months got bored and never looked back. GW2 is the epitome of a ******lined (apparently s t r e a m is an expletive.) themepark. The questing system was awful, self-defeating and repetitive. FFXIV is a story-driven MMO-RPG. It feels and plays like a FF game while also picking up the best aspects of MMOs. In addition the Vanguard-like crafting has been a lot of fun.
Couldn't agree more. The story really gets interesting at the end. FFXIV ARR may look flat in some areas but most of them are just breathtaking.
The areas are absolutely fantastic in most cases. Very creative. My only complaint is a lack of real-deal AA and DoF. DoF and SSAA would make everything complete as far as visuals go in this game to give the scenes more depth.
What servers is everyone on? I bought this I'm seriously disapointed by GTA5. Snooze fest. Also, do we get a first free month?
