    Hello Peeps.

Looking to upgrade. Heres what options i have so far. Gaming will be mainly BF4 and Titanfall.

Get another 660ti SC 2gb and sli them

Sell the 660ti and get a 7970 or wait for the 9970 / 9950 cards.

Wait of course. HD 9xxx cards are close and BF4 and Titanfall are AMD gaming evolved titles.

What kind of prices are you seeing on the 660ti SC if they are around 200 that would be you best course ATM. 660ti sli is equal to or greater than a Titan at 1920x1080.

Basically $200, it just under a year old. the serial number is 1 number higher than mine off the production line. I did see the benchies for it and looks good. All i really want is to have bf4 @ 1080p run at full ultra with a solid 60fps. Rig is a 3570k and will be running win8.1 when it comes out. They say the game is optimised for AMD, so that makes me wonder if i should move back to amd.

AMD drivers has been alot better lately. Waiting to see what HD 9xxx can do is your best choice, especially if you want to play BF4.

GTX660 has only 2GB vram and dealing with dual-gpu is not something i recommend. HD 9950/70 will most likely have 4GB vram and you will have overall better experience with single GPU.

Hello Guru's, I have the same question. I am currently using the HD 6990 and I have plans to upgrade. So should I wait for the new series or get HD7990 now coz the price is about 650 US or maybe i get GTX 780 about the same price ??
I want to say that if later the 9 series is out of course would be an exorbitant price for new latest series. whether the performance would be better if compared HD7990?? because overall I see well above average for 1080p resolution on HD7990. Games that I play all sorts of RPG, RTS and FPS. What's the GURU advice?

What's your FPS. I'm running 2x GTX570 and it's good for now think you should wait for next AMD. that's what I'm going to do and see what they going to offer

Yes your best bet is non-existent cards for a game that isn't even out yet :bang:

OP your two choices are get a 660ti now and sli or wait until BF4 comes out and see where the performance is you may be surprised to find that AMD isn't the king of this game.
