this is a strange one. I've recently reinstalled windows n wiped my system clean, around the time 13.8beta2 came out as I had experienced awful lag on a few games n thought it was about time to re install windows. On installing 13.8b2 I came to see gw2 and most of my mmo's have 10fps at best, looking on many forums the advice is to use whql only. now here is the thing, I used 13.4, 13.1, 12.8 and all blue screen when rebooting but not on any beta drivers? Has anyone experienced this oddity? its annoying to switch drivers between bf3 n gw2 to get the best experience.
Hi, I'm 5970 users, no problem for me with last 13.8 beta 2 (playing + 45 games) or whql drivers (but very useless). Just slowwwww with tesselation in splinter cell blacklist 1.01 (1920x1200 all 2x + tesselation = 22 fps, 58 fps without tesselation ). BUT need using Amd cleanup utility IN "safe mode" for uninstallating older 13.8 beta 1 or OTHERS drivers.
If you have win 8, don't use AMD uninstall utility because it will mess up your system.........try using (even for win 7 ) DDU (it's a new uninstall utility ) directly in safe-mode ( here the link: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=379505 ) If in the rare case you should have problems after using DDU, you can anyway try posting your problem in the DDU thread and see what his "creators" will suggest.
