What about Sniper Elite V2/NZA with Advanced Shadows on randomly crashing?

 

So much for the 'early August' release then!

I guess there's no harm in installing them if we have to wait a fortnight for the next official certified release.

 

Yes, this has been fixed for Geforce GTX Titan/GTX 780 users in the WHQL driver.

 

Yes sorry. That is why I hate to give dates publicly because internally we operate more on a "when its done" schedule.

 

Played APB Reloaded, performance is faster, solid frame rate.
Played Deus , and so far very good performance.

These drivers are better than the 314.22 so far, i will test other games tomorrow, but so far so good. Thanks OP.

 

ManuelG thanks for the info. i have only 1 issue with the current set(326.41), Google chrome crashes from time to time, it appears to be very random but i guess bug with nvidia driver and hardware acceleration of chrome. it can happen 2 times in a day, 0 times in a day, very random.

Any 560Ti users who tried this driver? Is it still freezing/bsod'ing?

 

I guess that's good news but I'm puzzled as I thought that issue was fixed in the 320.39 driver (or thereabouts)? :3eyes:

I haven't played the game in a couple of months but the last time I did try it with the fixed 320.39 drivers (or whichever ones they were) I did not experience the same freezing issues with Sniper Elite V2, Sniper Elite: NZA and Aliens vs. Predator (2010) when Advanced Shadows were enabled under DX11 mode. With the pre-320.39 drivers all those games would freeze within a minute with Advanced Shadows on yet I was able to play them all for over an hour (AvP for 3 hours in its campaign!).

Seems odd that it has again been 'fixed'... unless it was somehow broken again in the r325 drivers!

I have 326.19, the 326.41 have been awful for me. Problems in Starcraft 2, artefacts in Grid 2 and instability in Crysis 3
