Good mourning guru's, My xfx 6950 is having alot of trouble playing marvel heroes. Its the only game im currently playing on my pc, and its having a hard time keeping up. Im avg. about 20 frames and most of the time 5 frames when things get busy. So im looking to up grade. Im thinking of making the jump to nvidia, more specific the evga gtx760. My question is, should i get the 2gb version or the 4gb? I'v read the 4gb card is mostly for multiple monitors and i wont see any difference on a single monitor setup. Im currently running a 24" lg. Is this true? If so i will save the 50$ and get the 2gb card. Thanks for the help. Any other info, or opinions would be appreciated
If you plan to run only one card then 2GB is where you would want to go you will run out of GPU power before VRAM now if you were to run sli then yes get the 4GB.
I would personally go for this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161429 performs about the same out the box, overclocks like hell, has more vram, is £10 cheaper, will run quieter and cooler. One of the best HD 7950 out there.
Is there any other gpu's i should consider in the 300$ and less range you guys would suggest? Any info and opinions are appreciated

That HIS IceQ X2 is one of the best 7950's on the market, I'd take it over standard TwinX Sapphire card. If there was a Vapor-X for the same sort of money it'd be a tougher decision.
The 7950 has a bit of a cult following on Guru3d, not to mention a few other hardware websites. They're feature rich, tend to OC incredibly well, and come at a great price. While the 760 is still a great card, it wouldn't be my choice between the two. That said: What speeds are you currently running your CPU and GPU at? Most MMO's are very CPU dependant, and the 8150 isn't the strongest CPU out there if I'm totally honest. Your problem might be better served by other means.
Honestly the only rush to upgrade is that dam marvel Hero's game lol. My 6950, just cant keep up with it.
Yes, look up reviews of that HIS card and look up feedback on various forums, it's easily up there with the Vapor-X, in fact, I wanted to buy that same HIS but it was too expensive in the UK, cost over £290 and the Vapor-X was only ~£250 so I settled for the Vapor-X. That HIS cooler is a monster and it's a great card. It's also some $50 cheaper than the Vapor-X on newegg, if I was buying now, I would definitely go for it. That chart will give the OP a clear performance insight of the 7950 compared to his current 6950. The slowest card in that chart is a 6970, it runs BF3 at 40.3fps. I'm sure he can overclock his 6950 to a stock 6970 performance. Now see that the overclocked 7950 is over twice as fast.
And i was looking a evga because i haven't had a nvidia gpu since the 8800gtx. Figured i would try something new
OP maybe the problem is elsewhere and it's not the GPU? I think you're rushing to upgrade if you have assumed that it's the GPU without searching for a cause of the problem elsewhere.
No worries, I wouldn't recommend it if I didn't hear great things about it. Feel free to look up other reviews of it, it's a great card. I'm not saying you have to buy it, the gtx 760 is a good card as well and quite well priced too, by recent nvidia standards really well priced, even, but for me the more vram, wider bus, great overclockability, these are the factors. Oh, I would give newegg a call to see if they include the Never settle bundle with their 7950 cards still, if so, you're in for a treat in form of 3+ top games.
