Hellraid http://hellraid.com/ Teaser http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AToOVAEmpKE
Well... yeah. The Chrome Engine is Techland's own property engine. They created it, and update it. Why wouldn't they use it? That's like saying "Epic sure does love the Unreal engine"... Personally, I think this looks awesome. I also think it's great that what started as a little mod for Dead Island in Techland has become it's own project. I mean, I can clearly see the Dead Island gameplay, animations and such in it... but it's still awesome.
http://www.gameinformer.com/games/h...id-coming-to-ps4-xbox-one-and-pc-in-2015.aspx After previously being delayed to 2014 it's now being delayed to 2015 and updated from a X360/PS3/PC to XBO/PS4/PC with Chrome Engine 6 which also powers Dying Light. (Which will be released later on in 2014)
While I was hoping it would come out this year, I didn't see them releasing both Hellraid and Dying Light in 2014. Techland pushed out both Dead Island and CoJ: The Cartel in one year, and nobody in the studio was happy with it. Nice to see them giving both games the time they need.
Cheers for the update Jonas mate. The new trailer is also linked below... http://youtu.be/RismLtyJOrc
Looks awesome! Finally an updated coop action version of all those great old school dungeon stomper such as Wizardry, Eye of the Beholder, Ultima Underworld and Grimrock!
I somehow never got into Dead Island & Riptide, but I loved the Call of Juarez games and I'm pretty sure I will also like Dying Light. But this, this looks exactly what I'm looking for, a pseudo medieval fantasy settings with swords, maces, shields and magic, aw yeah! To bad there's still a long wait ahead.
Definitely looks interesting. I've enjoyed many of Techland game so far, including the two Dead Island ones (despite those being rough as hell) as the recent downloadable on-rails Call of Juarez shooter. However, I'm not a big fan of Chrome Engine with its lack of anti-aliasing support and short draw distances for shadows and grass not to mention its lack of an in-game V-Sync option (I'm not sure Techland know what v-sync is!!!). Chrome Engine 6 could be a big improvement though based on that trailer and I'm positively delighted that they've ditched support for the last gen PS3 and Xbox 360 formats because I'm sure they'd have held the game back technically.

Well that sucks! I was looking forward to this game. Still better to go back to the drawing board instead of releasing garbage I guess!
