Turn off Vsync, fixed the frame stuttering for me.

Yea just a few more degrees on the GPU core but my VRM's get VERY toasty with these in Kombuster. Just played a few levels of Metro LL on very high no physx or ssaa and I left GPU-Z open recording both VRM temps to a text file. The hottest the VRM's got in that game was 51*C thats at 1125/1575@stock volts. Maybe this driver just does not like Kombuster or its a false reading as this is a beta driver...?

    Hope they can see 5 GPUs? 12.6s can. .. . .

AMD driver devs, where is the love for people that use there GPUs for other things than gaming? 12.6 drivers so far are the only drivers I have been able to get 5 plus GPUs to be utilized per mainboard.

The 13.6 beta drivers see my 5th GPU but disables it?

If a required DLL is installed in the folder of the executable then that DLL takes precedence over the globally installed one. It has to be that way, because a newer (global) version may break the software if it has not been thoroughly tested with that DLL. Also, this system prevents name clashes.

However, the system is more complex than that, because of security reasons and crash prevention. There are backups of some globally installed versions and the OS keeps track which executable needs a specific version. There are also some mechanisms that prevent users to fiddle with DLLs. In Vista and later versions of Windows some files will automatically be restored if you delete them from any sub folder in the Programs Files folder (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of that folder). The auto-restore mechanism also works when you change these files. That works for DLLs, exectables, Ini-files, and some other file types. It can drive you nuts when you don't know what's happening.

installed fine on my 5870m, but I do notice a slight stutter in DotA 2 with them. nothing too serious and it doesn't really effect my game play. really noticeable while channeling though.

    Not measured 3dmark yet...

OC possibilities are about same as previously. Even the strange behaviour when video being decoded in the background is increasing stability of oc...

    Hi,

I have a problem with this catalysts drivers set, especialy with the AMD High Definition audio driver !

The Audio throught the Display Port does not work at the windows startup... (No sound from win 7x64 and games, volume working but nothing...)

To initialize it , I must change the source of my screen HMDI then return to the DP.

    No problem with 13.5 b2.

EDIT : I made an AMD bug beta report

When changing resolution or switching to fullscreen on some games I've noticed a good bit more crashes with these drivers, in-comparison to older drivers.

Nothing "too" severe, just kind of annoying.

I checked my MPC-HC settings and the renderer was madVR. I switched it over to EVR instead and now I can launch MPC-HC first, then 1 or more Youtube videos in multiple browser windows again. AMD GPU acceleration is working as it jumps from idling 250 MHZ to 500 MHZ.

Now the question is do I need to upgrade MPC-HC or madVR if I want to use madVR again? For anime, madVR is awesome.

    Thanks for the assistance k1net1cs!!!
