MS spends $1 billion on exclusive Xbox One games

$1 billion and only 15 exclusives ???

 

Oh let me guess...another Halo and Gears of War.

 

Aw come on, Crackin games them, I thought they were awesome but I am pretty easily pleased in some ways.

 

Rumor is that a certain german shepherd dog received 25M to appear on call of duty franchice. The canine made the right choice.

 

Wonder how much of this is to pay off developers to claim kinect2.0 is the best thing ever.

 

More Kinect dancing games. One of them could be a Kinect driven TV trivia game

 

I do find it extremely surprising they spend that money on exclusives, but cannot find enough scratch to create their own game engine.

Makes it even more surprising when you consider this is Microsoft, y'know, the company behind DirectX...

 

This thing is just to ugly to put near my tv

Not really sure what xbox has ever brought to the table.


If people want to stay with xbox that's upto them. Not for me though.



Power wise, xboxone is has no chance against the PS4.

Of course it's the games that matter, but imo SONY'S first party are unmatched.

The makers of HALO are showcasing DESTINY at sony's conference.

It think that speaks volumes.

PS4 for me.

 

Another Shooter... I will pass all the shooters since the halo fad began are terrible. The who shooting games fetish needs to end.


1 billion is drop in the bucket for MS I sure they drop a few 100mill in ads to for halo to get people to buy into it.

 

Clearly this $1Bn is going to be spread over the lifetime of the console, not for 15 exclusives... :3eyes:

 

If I was shelling out $1B for 15 exclusive, id make damn sure it was a lifetime.

 

The only good exclusive they make is Halo.
