Yep, **** performance in Metro: LL confirmed. A friend of mine is currently playing the game with 2x HD 7970 GE's, has everything on very high, 4xSSAA, 1200p, Phsyx off, and he's getting frequent dips below 30.

The 660ti is beating the HD 7970....that is ridiculous.

Game aint worth 50bux anyway so save your cash. Its just another marketing gimic and a unoptimized game pushing to sell more Nvidia cards. No thanks.

Similar issue here; this driver give me red screen lockups when I exit Crysis 3 (not when I play, only when I exit the game). In other games is stable but I dont have Battlefield 3.

I got an AMD 6950 and I am skipping this game. (6 FPS? lol)

Unless there is one Catalyst 13.5 B3 or B4 which puts thrice the performance in the game.

Metro is for now unplayable, bad optimization, and i also get strange flickering of textures/shadows.

Im noticing weird random artifacts while viewing some websites in Firefox with these and the 13.4 WHQL drivers. Doing a fresh OS install did not solve these issues.

Performance wise i am thinking that the 13.2 beta 6's and the drivers previous to 13.4 WHQL that Asder00 released performed better and with less bugs..not totally happy with the 13.4WHQL or 13.5B2's personally.

I haven't had any issues with Firefox. Try the Nightly 64-bit builds, that's what I typically use and haven't had any issues. I haven't noticed anything with regular Firefox either... Tested on multiple computers and both Windows 7 and Windows 8 (even Kubuntu 13.10, although this is the Windows driver so it probably isn't relevant), no issues with any of them. Make sure you aren't using an outdated Firefox, as I recall them fixing stability issues with AMD Catalyst drivers in a recent version (somewhere around 17.0, give or take a few versions).

I've also noticed better performance with pretty much each and every driver update, sometimes I might not see anything for DirectX or OpenGL because they might not have messed with anything related to the architecture of my GPUs (VLIW5 and VLIW4), but OpenCL and DirectCompute performance is usually improved.

I had problems with Firefox and display corruption but not has bad as others reported. I use the Trunk Nightly's and any display corruption I might have is few and far between now.

Driver works perfectly for my MSI 7950. In terms of Borderlands 2, I find that disabling v-sync and instead using the frame cap option @ 60 fps made a huge difference. No screen tearing, and steady 60 fps with settings maxed.

Does anyone have flashing shadows in metro Last Light ?

It's only when Tessellation is Very High or High, if it's normal or Low it doesn't happen.

Anything we can do to fix it and use Very High ? the whole point in this game is all this options.

or could it be some other option, Surface Format Optimization or something nvidia doesn't has.

They have said numerous times that the next driver is June. This driver will also have a massive leap in perceivable performance.
