You crazy man! Black is now available from my carrier. Just a shame I'm completely skint at the moment...
im in big depth to my credit cards. well, earn to lvie and joy. anyway, this is a better phone from Xperia Z for me. one hand is more comfy. OS is fluid, smooth. the material is awesome. i feel like IP5, BB z10 andorid phone. awesome. future will tell if it will be good.
I told you the Z was a mistake. And I know you'll buy an s4 before the end of this month you paid full price for a Z. Not a bad phone but not a patch on s4/One. Btw, I already want a phone with a bigger screen. 5.3 maybe on a same size device? Maybe s6.
:wanker::wanker::wanker: Well , Z is not a bad phone, a big screen, powerful, battery is good. a nice glass design. Wife is already enjoying with it. Hope to sell her 920 at a good price. But my personal expectation is , it looks like, more comfy with ONE. a material is awesome. the UI is cool. i hope battery is good too. I will buy S4 some how sometime. hope not this month .. i want to ask a question about b HTC ONE. i keep seeing in drop down menu in home screen that: BATTERY SAVER MODE is OFF.. why it is there all time. battery is already %55. i cant swipe and dismiss it. lame.
I would turn it on, there's no real downside. You can enable/disable portions of it. The no brainers are "reduce CPU power" and "Turn off data connection" There's no real downside to either. That said, there are apps/mods to remove it if you have root. If you don't, I'm not sure there's anything you can do about it just yet.
Battery saving mode is incredible. It lowers the brightness of the screen so it might be a little difficult to see the screen under direct sun, but other than that it gives you even more juice without compromising much.
I can't understand the way it works. I mean I do but, for best result check all options? Enable all? It is in Turkish and a bit confusing.
I'm not sure if your's is somehow different from in English..But I personally only checked the two I listed, "CPU power" and "Data Connection" Checking the box, for me, enables the power saving feature. CPU power limits the CPU to 1.2ghz and, though I'm not sure what the data connection option does exactly..It seems to work kind of like a juice defender type app.
Agreed. Love this phone, the build quality is amazing. Its very fast and responsive, and the front facing speakers is great too. However, I will pass on this and stick with my S3 for the time being. HTC's support in the past has been completely diabolical a friend had the HTC One X and loved it until Jelly Bean came out and I simply downloaded it through my S3 easily. He is on the same network and it took them 4 months to include it, in the end he used the bootloader and installed it himself. Also, no removable battery is a bitch, I had a 2300mAh battery stock with my S3 it now has a £7 4300mAh battery inside it and I can fully charge it and it will last me two-three days straight which includes some pretty heavy use like gaming on the toilet listening to music, watching videos on youtube, and lots of texting. Also, no MicroSD card... shame, when will HTC learn people want this!! I travel quite a bit and I want to take plenty of music, movies, and games on the go with me. My S3 has 16GB built in and I slapped in a 64GB SDXC memory card and it flies and have over 200 TV/Movies on it, and about 20 games and over 400 songs and its only just broke half capacity. Maybe next time HTC.
well , I enabled it all. I will try tomorrow this way, and later time the way u say. just CPU and DATA. And the battery gets better in time yeah? like all batteries for electronics. oh I think data connection setting is like what Xperia Z stamina does. when screen is OFF. DATA connection goes OFF. which is FINE to me.
Was at Verizon today getting something and got to play with this phone for a bit. I definitely want to get it but can't justify spending $600 on another phone. Even though this one blows my Galaxy Nexus out the water.
Ohh, now this was surprising on my side. I thought after 1 week u may get a better battery. And eclap, is this cpu on one is more battery friendly than Xperia z?
No one is going to hold on to a phone for more than a year or two My thunderbolt is still going strong with its original battery, and it has been with me for over 2 years now.
Some people want it. And there are other phones for that. I owned a 16GB S3. Never used the SD slot. Never changed the battery. I don't need or want either. By the end of my time with the S3, the battery door was slightly deformed and sticking up on one end where it wouldn't completely pop closed. For something I don't even need
Iplay, u got one? And the beats audio is amazing. I thought it is just a marketing gimmick but this is a real thing. Front stereo speakers are amazing too. I'm happy with this purchase. No mistake in here.
