AMD Catalyst 13.5 B2 (12.102.3.0 April 16)

    I just installed the 13.5 Beta and ran into an unusual problem with CCC. When I try to change the video settings the CCC GUI kin of disintegrates, like this;

    Has anyone else noticed this ?

    isn't :) is only that one compared to the new prototype driver to see the substantial difference

    Same thing happens with my Logitech G13 Software if I run it when I alt-tab from a game -it never did that before AMD Catalyst 13.5 B2. Most of interface is missing, clears on reboot.

    If you already have 13.4 installed than just install the latest 13.4 caps. If not, than go for 13.5 beta.

    The 13.5beta2 is not the prototype drivers .. some reviewers have mixed the thing ( some had 13.5beta 2 and beta 5 ).

    Caps are already included in 13.5 beta. No need to install them. Use them if you have 13.4 or lower.

    Fantastic, thanks. I was kinda hoping it was, so I might wait to see what further impressions are before upgrading from 13.3b3. I'm still not sure how many benefits there are over what I'm running now. If it was that proto driver, it would've been a no-brainer!

    Still, that's a great article PCPer have done. They've really been on top of this latency thing with some great explanatory videos and articles. Kudos to them.

    And G3D, obviously :)

    Anyone getting weird texture glitches in games with these.

    Its completely random, happened in a range of games. Always seems to happen on the outer edge of the screen. Its like a chequered black and white flash where the texture should be its only there for a split second and its gone...

    Hope this is not artifacts :( Its weird it seems to go away after I reinstall DX?

    Strange, its gone now I reinstalled DX.

    I checked VRM temps in GPU-Z whilst running Kombuster @ 720p 8xMSAA and GPU maxed out at 63*c and the VRM's both maxed out at 69*c so they are not overheating.

    Will keep and eye and see if the problem comes back but it seems ok now after DX reinstall.
