    between 30-45°?

Edit: I asking becuase i get missing or flicerking driver Ambient Occlusion at around that angle..

Could be something with that and its not the first time I saw some anomalies at around that area. Certain drivers were really buggy there, guess its where nv trys to "squeeze" extra fps.

Does this driver cause other peoples computers to hang with a black screen or is it just my computer is giving me trouble? I have memtest running right now in case its a problem with my ram.

It happens to me while watching youtube. I get a hardlock so I need to hard reboot my computer. It even hangs on windows bootup sometimes. It could be a problem with my computer though. I've done three passes of memtest and there was no errors so I will keep testing until I find the culprit.

I hope Nvidia wont rush these new drivers. I don't want to be here writing about problems with the new drivers... Just take your time NV.

No, it's correct... But they usually mean with 64x MSAA, 128x Anisotropic etc while instead of 10FPS you now get 14FPS. That's 40% increase. They talk like that for the "Joes" -marketing methods.

Recently NFS Shift 1 & 2 is crashing for me and I think it has something to do with this beta driver. Can anyone confirm this?

I recently tested BF3 with these drivers vs the perfect 301.42

    BF3/314.22/Q6600/1GB GTX 550/1600X900/Ultra Settings/AA Deferred Off/everything else on max/Blur full/FOV full/FXAA enable/AA8x enhanced, with 8x super sample, HQ NCP = 19-32.

    BF3/301.42/Q6600/1GB GTX 550/1600X900/Ultra Settings/AA Deferred Off/everything else on max/Blur full/FOV full/FXAA enable/AA8x enhanced, with 8x super sample, HQ NCP =

38-45-60 easily, with no stuttering. Lowest it drops is around 35 at times.

What? most of the time it stays between 40-60, and sometimes drops to 35-38.
The 301.42 drivers at least for my 550 ti are the best drivers and not bad considering i am using a q6600. But the drivers fixes all my issues, and believe me i tested pretty much all of them lol

Disappointed to hear that newer drivers perform so poorly.

Well from the drivers which i have tested, anything above 301 performs kinda bad on my end anyway. I haven't tested all of them, but the ones i have are not good. You should try out the 301.42 tho if you can, and set fxaa on, hq settings, and 8x enhanced and 8x super sample and tell me how good games perform :)

301.42 set runs like crap with GTX6xx compared to newer drivers though.

I might be picking up a 2GB 650 boost soon, i guess i will be limited to the 314?

hmmmm maybe there was a driver conflict or something, but i just tested the 314.22 again and Jericho , sleeping dogs and NFS hot pursuit runs way much smoother and faster. Jericho is moving a bit too fast lol, but smooth as hell. Let me do some more testing, going to try bf3.

So is it safe to say that the latest drivers are not necessarily the best drivers?
