Of course it shouldn't. I seriously doubt that it will make others happier in case of interrupting the gameplay and minimizing it to desktop with out of space error message. It is up to user to keep system and HDD ready for recodding.

how about instead of revolving circle OSD
there will be a Warning Triangle, or HD out of space text, or both?

that way it would avoid desktop drop in game, and will assist in
    the reason for the problem.

Useless. If you don't look at OSD carefully anyway, you won't notice it as well. It is already there, if you enable "show own statistics", OSD can display recording stats including file size and so on. Looking at it you can always see if recording goes ok or wrong and if file is growing up or not.

When I'm in game and I enable the OSD does it take up much CPU time?

Then if I use a keyboard short-cut to then remove the OSD while in game, is it still using some CPU regardless or is it not effectively off and not using anything?

Just something I have been curious to know...

Try running some benchmarks with OSD on and off to compare. I think you will find that OSD has next to zero impact on performance :)

We're preparing RTSS v5.1.0 to launch. I'm making some changes to it to make RTSS installation, integration with AB/Precision and update process more convenient for end users. Changes list includes:

    • Added update checking system
    • Added version checking system to installer. Now the installer is giving you a warning when you’re trying to install older or reinstall currently installed version of the server
    • Added client notification system to installer. Now the installer is notifying client applications like MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision in the end of the server installation process to allow the clients to restart themselves
    • Added workaround for missing tray icon when starting application while EXPLORER.EXE is not responding
    • Application tray icon is now being restored after restarting EXPLORER.EXE
    • Fixed issue with newly added profiles not being automatically selected in the profiles list
    • Added keyboard navigation support for profiles list
    • Updated Italian installer
    • Added On-Screen Display profile for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault

Will this installer only work for beta3.0 or it can update RTSS of release/official version (2.3.x ) ?

Everything I could have dreamed of and more, thanks so much! :)

About new keyboard navigation (it's awesome, and already saved my life twice btw :D), I have a small suggestion to make (not to sound picky, feel free to ignore and/or kick me in the nuts ;))

After typing the name of executable with the keyboard, have the Enter/Return key activate the currently highlighted profile (or have it happen automatically). Otherwise it seems the settings for last profile selected in the list remain showing until I click it with the mouse (or use arrow keys to reselect it), which seems like maybe a potential source of confusion for others who are less familiar with the concept.

    Thanks for reading.

Ok, I"ll wait for release version as don't want to have to reset it all again in short time .
I am assuming it will be out of beta soon .

Sounds reasonable, will make it auto selectable.

Thank you sir, that will help me avoid changing settings for the wrong profile (in case I forget to click it).

How do I get to set the power limit with this version. I updated from 2.2.3 and I don't see the option anywhere.
