Yeah, they're the 2gb versions. 2560x1440 is fine for every game i've tried but 4k just causes everything to crash. Tried ME, Mass Effect and Dihonored so far. At least now I know why :)

Playable downsampling = more than 2GB. Sucks but its needed.

Have you tried any happy mediums? 2880x1620 and 3200x1800 are also popular downsampling resolutions with far fewer total pixels than 3840x2160.

It used to work just fine in but now I jsut get black screen... That was before going to SLI. Dunno if it's the driver of what. :wanker:

What's giving you a black screen?

I have SLI and 2160p works. Here are my settings.

It does vary from person to person, monitor to monitor though. Just be glad you're not on AMD, which is a huuuuge headache for downsampling from what I've seen.

I don't know how you can stomach that DoF. I think a simple fast-pass gaussian blur would look better than that.

Try to increase the Horizontal total pixels, for me to work i have 3080 Horizontal and 1100 Vertical :) (but i'm on HDMI for higher Pixel Clock)

I said the same thing. I don't see the point posting 50 links to images no ones going to look at either.

Some nice pics. Bulletstorm isn't all that great looking. I mean, it's pretty decent in a few places but overall...

You guys are making me install a lot of older games to try downsampling/sweetfx on.

Äääääh... Stupid me, I should have used my 75Hz settings. Works fine now... Good, looks like the über large mouse cursor is now fixed too. By the way, is it good idea to adjust the lod when downsampling?

Did a quick ME2 test with SMAA @ 3840x2160, nowhere near maxing 2GB. Quality wise 4xSGSSAA gives better results than 3840x2160 resized to 1920x1080, it also has less motion aliasing (I use 0x200202C3 aa flag). SMAA sure does smooth things out but still, shader aliasing is more issue than with SGSSAA (SGSSAA is faster too).

4K with 4xSGSSAA, this was too much and hit the memory limit (click for original - clearly working). :D
