AMD Catalyst 13.3 BETA 3 (12.100.17.0 March 18)

http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/AMDCatalyst13-3WINBetaDriver.aspx there is last beta from amd and they support "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 7000M Series" you can look by ur self. But I dont know if thye work, becouse i had problem with 13.3 beta2.

 

I am getting "Display Drivers not responding errors" in the following games, barely after a few minutes in trying to play them.

When the system boots W7 x64, is a green screen and bsod .... WTF? :3eyes:


With 13.2 beta7 all normal work

 

I have an HDMI problem... again! :bang: I have to install it every time I restart the system. How could this be so complicated? I installed the 13.2 b6 just to fix this, I thought this was the last working one, but after restart I don't have any HDMI sound option again. It gets annoying..

I solve this problem, in Device Manager, on and off the sound hdmi. But after a reboot, it has to be repeated.

 

not a single problem once again nice driver..4 rigs(hd 4xxx, 5xxx cf, 6xxx, 7xxx cf) , all O.K..

so whoever wants to install 'em, go..do not read "bad" posts, great package..:bang:

There are still improvements for older cards!

I just wanted to say that it seems like there still are improvements for older cards.
(I'm on CAT 13.2 BETA 7 for now btw.)

I installed it because there were optimizations for Crysis 3.
It turned out that they do apply to my "old" card too.

I just compared the frames at my last savegame and they were about 10%+ higher compared to CAT 13.1 WHQL.

There seems to be better utilisation, because it's the first time I had to lower my overclock, which has been stable in any game for about 1,5 years.
(Core: 920 MHz to 905 MHz)

 

Did a quick check of some of the components, beta 3 files are NEWER than beta 2 files despite having the same file version. The only two I checked were atikmdag.sys and the OpenCL files (AMD APP SDK Runtime), both had differences between beta 2 and 3. I should point out they were just the two I chose, many, many more files have differences between the two.

By differences I mean actual file differences of the extracted files, not just file size or date changes. Basically you should do a full remove of the old driver first, then install so you properly update the files.

Any beta chipset/SATA drivers? I grow bored of the stable 13.1 drivers

 

Just installed on a HD 7690m and works just fine so yes...

 

Tested on an XFX 7970 DD: working great, no OGL issues like beta 2.

 

Claims to work with 7000M cards, but it doesn't work with Enduro. Another fail for mobile. It's really awesome how AMD craps all over their mobile customers, makes us feel special.

Guys could anyone please see if there is still a halo 3.exe profile on the new amd driver?

 

You can fix it by setting gfx.content.azure.enabled to false in about:config

Direct2D disabled apparently works too

 

if i set to false - would my hardware acceleration works?
Setting to false - didn't helped.

 

Well it didn't worked for me either at first but now the pixalation doesn't occur when I click new tab or the middle mouse button. I get something like this (don't know bout you guys)

 

Happens when I use Pale Moon browser, also. You can stop this happening for the time being by loading the default skin and not using a custom one.
