I don't usually use Firefox at all, but the times I did use it, I had no artifacts at all. I was just wondering if there was some way of reproducing it just to see for myself.

so as you see there is no improvement at all in this 3 latest games evolved by amd , also the stutter in tomb raider are only when u use vsync , so when vsync are off both beta 02 and beta 06 have no stutter , also no annoying stutter in crysis 3 ore farcry 3 they work great with no probs , ans like i said it's better to go with beta 6 :)

And there are other vendors that make up a computer other than an AMD/ATI graphics card. Some issues can arise from something BIOS-related, requiring an update from the manufacturer. Same thing goes for the vendor of your GPU.

Not saying AMD's drivers are problem free at all, but AMD isn't the only one to be looking at if things go wrong, and more-so if it happens to work fine for the majority. A computer has multiple components that can affect one another.

That's what happens when you install AMD drivers on an Nvidia card....

Keeping your RAM at stock speeds when not gaming will prevent that corruption.

I did some tests and found out the reason for the corruption.
On some monitors (144 hz monitors at 144 hz and some 120 hz displays), 2D runs at 500 mhz and either your default ram speed or your overdrive RAM speed, whatever is faster (but not slower). When viewing flash, the RAM clocks get set back to the default 500 mhz setting of 1375 (non ghz cards) or 1500 mhz, which is an immediate downclock if you overclocked it, causing corruption on the screen. This corruption doesn't happen if your 2D idle clocks are correctly 300/150 or your overdrive RAM Speed is at (or lower) than the default speed.

This driver keeps 13.2 BETA 7 changes?

    EDIT: Yeah, probably yes.
Sometimes I get lost in all these releases, hue

Good point however what better time to start optimization, after all these drivers are not exactly final either.. Is it not best for these hardware company's to be working along side game devs for best support & stability from the start ?

Darn, Max Payne 1 and 2 still don't work. I've been really wanting to play those games again but any driver past 12.6 doesn't work with the Max Payne games.

I guess I'll just keep on reporting the issue to AMD and keep hoping for a fix.

I had occasional flicker in Firefox with 300/150 and yes it was caused by frequency switching.
But solved it bit differently by method which works for everyone.
I made CCC profile with base 2D clock 500/750 and 3D clock 1050/1500. Since flickering is caused by quick jumping from 300/150 to 500/750 and back.
Having 10W higher power consumption does not concern me at all. And yes, @120Hz.
