    From screenshot thread...

I started using the Nexus way before the Manager released and most of my mods are pre-manager. I can try to pull out a list some day but it's quite time consuming.

Crash less than FNV but there are still some crashes. For some reason, when I boot up the game and load a save, I need to reload that save one more time immediately and then it's almost crash free for the play session.

    My ENB : http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/18753

    Ok fella. Fair Enough.

I just assumed everybody used the manager and I thought the manager had always been there.

    :)

Thanks again for the fantastic ENB. Looking forward to giving it a whirl:)

    Thanks for the info, Wanny

I am ok as long as it is not a crash fest like FNV.

I just basically want better textures for things , then maybe just a very few other things.

So you guys think having a DOF mod for the graphics is a must-have?

Fallout 3 crashes all the time for me, and I barely have any mods installed. Well, maybe not all the time, but pretty frequently. Like at least once every 2 hours.

If you only knew what more I modded to it. I even went down deep into imagespace modifiers. It's more than DOF.

Sure, but I probably won't have time to spend tweaking every last thing. :) If DOF is a must-have mod and makes the game look much better then I'll definitely add it. Not sure which DOF mod I must install.

Are there any high-res character skins? Or beautiful faces .. bodies..?

Ok my bad I misread you. Yea there are bodies/face mods but I never tried them because... hum... well... they're naked. lol

DOF is part of ENB. You try any ENB you want that has a DOF.

I wish someone could compile a list of must-have graphic mods ... and also game play mods. I finished the game 2 years ago, but I never played the DLC. Apparently you can continue playing the game if you install one of the them, not sure which one.

But I really want to make my next playthru special, which means it must be more difficult, more realistic and the graphics needs to a lot better than before. I've heard of mods that increase monster variety... and also weapons! That would be a must-have right off the bat!

I assumed there might be a face mod ... kind of like with Skyrim, that improves the facial features, hair.. etc.

I saw high-res skin of a ghoul that looked pretty darn frightening given all the detail..

Are there any mods for FO3 that make the mechanics similar to New Vegas?

How the hell do I get Fallout 3 to work, crashing to desktop every time before the game has a chance to load, using windows 7 64 bit edition if that's any use.

Multi core CPU tip: change Havoc threads from 1 to how many cores your cpu has.

Setting to 8 in my case got rid of 95% load on one core - now highest load is about 50%. :D
