Did you set power tune setting to +20%?
Might be that the card is maxing out the default limit and therefore lowering the clocks.

Seems that there is another issue that cuts the frame rate in half sometimes (right after starting the game). Might be that crossfire isn't kicking in as it should or that the cards are still using 2D clocks. Restarting the game and the performance is back...

Yes i done that, i deinstalled the drivers to try 13.1. Just turned on the puter and afterburner shows idle clocks r set. Gonna give it a go with these whql.

Im not using crossfire btw, it looked like boost was kicking in and downclocking causing severe framedrops like 20'ish fps.

Same result with those drivers, did some testing setting the power limiter at an extra 10% does the trick however that comes with much more additional heat and noise output. In Black Ops 2 i don't need the extra 10% and stock clocks r maintained. Could it be a specific issue with C3?

I initially said that maxing the slider didn't help, that's because i had mine oc'd so basicly oc with this game + max powerlimiter for now is out of the question for me and back to 13.2 beta 6 fuk it

Question, why do they say if you enable AAx8 , etc you will get a performance increase?
Putting things to extreme levels will decrease performance ha

Because you'll go from like 4fps to 5fps with 8x AA enabled, that is a 25% performance increase!

And you're supposed to be stupid enough to say "WOW!"

Have you reported it via the beta driver form on AMDs site?

The more of us who do, the better chance we have of getting it fixed

I tried all versions. If Trixx/Afterburner are not supported how can i overclock my card? CCC has limits.

If you get artifacts overclocking your card, then maybe your card can't be overclocked any further

But in CCC i can change clock without problems.
    Only Cat. 12.8 works fine.
12.9, 12.10, 12.11 etc. have this same problem.

Officially, you may ONLY oc through CCC...

anything else is not supported by AMD.

All versions isnt really helpful...actual version numbers would be.

    current trixx is 4.6.0

you might want to try the 4.4.0mod thats floating around...

You can use GPU Tweak to disable the limits of CCC. Then you can deinstall GPU Tweak and Overclocking via the CCC with higher limits..

While this driver works flawlessly with my main rig, my third rig which has a HD6990 definitely does not like this driver. I get a blank screen whenever and whatever game I fire up, I uninstalled it, ran DS and reinstalled 13.2 B5 and games work again. Just an FYI....
