NVIDIA GeForce TITAN Pre Release Driver - 314.09

What should that option do on anything else than a Titan? The rate is fixed for Kepler and Fermi.

 

Hmm. So NVIDIA releases new driver that improves Crysis 3 performance, but limit it to Titan cards only?

Ok just tried these drivers out of curiosity,i was on 313.95 before and now with these my 3d mark 11 Graphics Score has gone up 150 points , also i seem to be able to up my overclock a extra 20 MHz on msi afterburner as well and all seems good ., played borderlands 2 and bf3 for a hour each and everything is running smooth . will update if problems arise

PS Just finished a quick run on crysis 3 and well low Fps outside in the rain ( 30fps ) and between 40-60fps in-side, running @ 1920x1080 Fxaa on everything else set to very high , dose anyone no if it worth giving the 314.07 ago but i read that they are giving people problems .

 

Can these be modded for mobile too?

 

Is there a mod for the XP version?

They're ok in UT3 and COD BO2 too., I didnt play any other games yet.

 

Just want to report that these definitely gives better performance over 314.07 in Crysis 3. FPS more stable and gameplay overall much smoother. Keepers for me

 

I had some trouble getting these installed on my 660m, it seems Nvidia has a different structure with mobile/notebook drivers.

What I did was install 314.07 and then copied the files (not the inf) from the 314.09 folder, to the 314.07 folder.

I then installed the 314.09 drivers from the 314.07 directory manually, and it worked!

For some reason 314.07 gave me a laggy mouse selecting box in windows 8 x64, these drivers seemed to have fixed that :banana:

 

Just installed these and ran a Valley benchmark, no difference compared to 314.07.

Edit: Just played C3, seems to be no difference here either.

 

i met an annoying and weird issue with this set of drivers:

Crysis3 doesn't launch if i have steam or skype working ...
back to the latest 314.07 quadro's and everything is fine again.
Appart from that they were ok to me, on win 7 64

 

disable in-game v sync and use nvidia adaptive v sync. you could also try setting a framerate limit.

 

I usually dont comment on driver improvements (like the ever going battle between quadros and geforce sets) but i fail to see how people doesnt see how much improvement this set gives in C3.

The ones that probably dont see any changes, remember that you have to keep ingame vsync off, force adaptive vsync in NVCP and then proceed to max out the game.

The difference is quite striking.
