Seriously, i know it's personal preference but so many people make this great tool like like some garbage post processing mod.

If people need to crank up the colour and/or sharpening that much, then clearly their eyes/monitor have some issues.

    Less is more guys lol.

I have no idea why it came about that sharpening = better. In most cases, from what I've seen in this thread, it's quite the opposite.

Just to ask because it seems no one either seen it or perhaps dont know, has anyone made this work with Settlers 7? Just to recap, it goes to 'after game report' streight after when I put the files into the folder of steam where the settlers 7 .exe file is, also, when I delete the files it still happends, meaning I got to redownload the game to get it to work again.

Safe mode, overlay disabled from uplay etc did not work.

So I've been using SweetFX for a few months now, and it has only just recently caused a problem for me in Battlefield 3 multiplayer.

Punkbuster is up to date and I'm using the Punchafield 3 settings config. I didn't think a PB detection was possible because SweetFX doesn't modify any core game files... I don't get it...

I know I know. These are darker than in game and the bloom and lens flares really help make for a movie like atmosphere, akin to a brown bag over the head. And not just sweetfx, .ini changes as well, and downsampling.

That's because people tend to use too much.

The sharpening in your aliens screenshot was DISGUSTINGLY obvious. SO much noise and artifacts. And it made everything look like it was made out of stone.

    no

That's my point exactly. WHY are people using it too much? It just looks gross. Sharpening was originally only used in the FXAA injector to offset the blur you got from FXAA. And in the hands of someone who actually has a good eye for image quality, you couldnt tell that FXAA was added, nor that it was sharpened back up.

But all I see these days are insanely oversharpened images. It's silly. I just need to stop coming in this thread...

Anyways. CJ. Is it at all possible to change the way the injector names screenshots? I'm finding that in a given play session, screenshots I've taken later on will come before earlier screenshots alphabetically. There's a very arbitrary numbering system attached to screenshots. ENB uses a time\date format which is brilliant.

Adding sharpening adds a LOT more detail. I'm noticing things I never had before in some games.

You over did it. That's way too much sharpening.
