Rumor has it being named "GeForce GTX Titan" with the 700 series being released late this year. These cards are expected to be limited run with all cards being reference design with reference cooler.

And what will this so called "780" be based on if not on GK110?? :D

I think it will be Geforce 780 Titan, not just Geforce Titan and a limited edition chip.

It will probably be a cut down version aka. 770 as well, look what nvidia did with GF110 chip, milked it to death at the end.. 560GTX 448 anyone? ;)

And there won't be Maxwell this year so no 700 name for that, but speaking of Maxwell it will have a small onboard chip for certain cpu operations so even less cpu depended like GK110 with HyperQ and Dynamic Parallelism.

I simply repeated current rumors being circulated around the web. Nobody but NVidia knows what's going to happen until it does.

game such as crysis, the 680 isnt any faster due to it being memory dependent. for me, it was actually much slower(stock) compared to my oced 580 with 5ghz memory, i think my memory bandwidth was 250GBp/s. once i oced 680 to 7.2ghz mem i got an extra 15fps or so. but yes the 680 has more shader power, which most games are limited to and not memory performance but there are some games out there that are more dependent on mem.

yep i wish i could look 1 month into the future..

Yes, the 680 is still faster than the 580. However it is true that Crysis 1 does expose the lack of bandwidth on the 680.

Is there any proof to that link other than a graph?

Fastest single GPU, not bad. Price is awful though.

So if I go by OBR then its not at around 2x 670GTX? a :p

And why 2x 670gtx, because now it would take just 1 GK110 to render that new Dawn tech demo at fast fps @ 1080P.

Btw 1340mhz clock? Idk would be good if true, but then again anyone can change wiki info.

The shaders count and clock speed look awesome, if true, but wouldn't review samples be in hand to reviewers by now if it is coming out Feb 18?

Why LE? GF110 wasnt LE either, yeah there was only a 580GTX at first but soon after that 570 and 560TI 448 core popped out.

And if i go with wiki it says GK110 is a 700 series gpu.

because since the start everyone that has forwarded any info has said this isn't a gtx, the gtx cards will be laters.

Yes, however there still constrained by TDP limits, Cowie isn't.

The Tesla has a TDP of 235W and around half those clock speeds, nearly doubling the clock speeds would surely significantly increase the TDP!?
