I read somewhere that the memory GCN rewrite will be released with 13.3 WHQLs.

Same here using single HD7970m, Win 7 64.. Also noticed Arma 2 felt sluggish compared to beta 4 - rolled back to 4 all fine again :)

    Downloading BETA 5 now...

Far Cry 3: Improves performance up to 10% at 2560x1600 with 8xAA

Hoping this filters down to lower resolutions. If 10% at 2560x1600 then I am hoping for about 30% at 1080p???? Wishful thinking maybe?

Let us know how it goes at 1080p, I can't be bothered with loading up FC3 until UbiShaft gets their act together and releases a patch for this damn game. The stutter at anything below 60 fps is ridiculous. There's a thread going on 50 pages about this issue on the official forums with both nvidia and amd users complaining but I haven't seen any indication that it will be fixed.

    me -> :puke2: <- Ubi

Far Cary 3 performance improved so much. My mouse fells less laggy but I really hope they fix all the problems with the drive latency. If they don't I'm jumping ship :bawl:

Yep. FC3 running fairly smoothly is possible. With my setup I ended up doing the following:

    - Everything max except Post FX to medium and Water to low
    - DirectX 9.0 (kind of need to for Crossfire, DX11 is faster but glitchy)
    - disable ingame AA of all kinds
    - diable ingame vsync and set render ahead limit to 0
    - Force Dynamic Vsync via RadeonPro to get rid of tearing

That + these drivers and the game is running better than Skyrim, at least for me.

CF used with this version in crysis 3 (Very High , 8X AA, 1920*1080)

@90 fps average (~90% per GPU)

But the game is not very smooth...

Stuttering related to frame time latency. It was "discovered" in this TechReport article - Radeon HD 7950 vs. GeForce GTX 660 Ti revisited.

AMD reacts and released Catalyst 13.2 betas with some optimizations for a few games. Andrew Dodd and Dave Baumann (i think) saids that they are preparing new driver with rewrited memory manager for GCN cards and lowered frame time latencies - A driver update to reduce Radeon frame times

Thats we are talking about :)
