    Hi Japamd,

I have a problem with "Resident Evil 5", and smaa in DX10 mode. DX9 works fine but DX10 boots into the menu screen with a blank screen, and I can still see the mouse cursor.

    FXAA works fine though.

Many Thanks for your continued effort's with RadeonPro

    Hi i have a hp 17t-3200 with i5-3210m and 7850m graphics
i have a problem with installing some of the programs to tweak my 7850m like radeon pro and ati tray tools.. i keep on getting could not load ADL drivers.. i have the latest intel driver and 13.1 mobile driver installed.. i can run the games with the 7850m but the thing is when i install radeon pro and ati tray tools it feels like it always detect the default driver of intel hd 4000 and not the 7850 what is why these programs do not work properly... please help

Thanks, I'll try that then. I'm having a nightmare with Arma2 at the moment. First I couldn't get it or DCS World to launch without crashing, so after a couple of days of debugging I restored from a True Image backup I made a couple of weeks ago. Then it was fine for a few days, then one morning Arma2 couldn't load again but DCS World was still fine as was everything else.

I have a spare Windows partition so I've just restored the TI backup to that and Arma2 works fine in that, so it's obviously a software problem but I can't think what as I didn't change anything between playing it on Sunday evening and being unable to launch it on Monday! Anyway, not a RP problem as that's running in both Windows (and I tried killing it and the support service as part of my debugging anyway).

That's totally weird if you've got Arma2 and Arma2 Operation Arrowhead both installed. You may be able to launch CO just by making a shortcut like this:

    "D:\Games\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=D:\Games\ArmA 2;Expansion;" -nosplash -world=empty

adjusting the paths as necessary of course but not using Steam for Arma2 I can't say for sure, so best to wait for someone else to confirm.

Works fine here. Are you using the latest build? Download it again just to be sure.

Sorry, that's an already reported issue that I could not find a solution.

Ok, just tried it and got this

    You got it :)

It won't say Combined Operations as that's just a name for Arma2 Operation Arrowhead content combined with Arma2 content. As the Expansions window shows, you've got both loaded there so you're good to go.

As I say, I'm not familiar with Steam but I presume that other box was just setting up the files for the first time and you won't see that every time.

As that worked, you should now be able to run the beta by making a shortcut like this:

    Code:
    "D:\Games\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=D:\Games\ArmA 2;Expansion;Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" -nosplash -world=empty
that assumes you have the beta installed of course. If you do it should be in your steam folder under Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta but it may be that Steam uses a different folder for it. I'm not sure how Steam handles installing the betas either.

There's been some problems with crashes with the most recent ones, so you might want to stick with 100697 for now. They're available for download from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php but I'm not sure whether you'll be able to install those with the Steam version as it might not be able to find the correct folder but it looks in the registry for that, so if Steam creates the same registry keys as the standalone version you should be fine.

tried doing a uninstall and then reinstalling?

Press Windows+R, write services.msc, click enter and search for RadeonPro support service.

Btw i see that swetfx doesn't "work" (removed) anymore in BF3 (online?), is there a way to enable it with RP under my own risk? (going 2 read previous posts to check what japamd said about this :) ).

    Hi!

First time user, just registered to post how wonderful radeonpro really is for my setup :)

    A few questions:

Everytime my system boots up, there's a message about a helper module from radeonpro, "no support for 64 bit, nothing to do here exiting" I think. Have to manually close down the window. Is this normal? Radeonpro autostarts according to the settings i've used.

Had a hard time with vsync and AMD in general (miss adaptive vsync) heard radeonpro is suppose to have dynamic vsync. Bf3, hitman are a few games i'm using dynamic vsync on, everytime the fps goes under 60fps, it kinda behaves like adaptive vsync. Does dynamic vsync turn it self off under 60 fps just like adaptive?

Love how easy it is to use sweetfx with radeonpro, love it!

Thank you so much for your awesome application!!!

Will donate at the end of the month

do you have a 32bits OS?, go to the options and try to search something like "enable 64bit support" and disable it.

dynamic vsync is mostly the same than adaptive i think (except different implementor).

Hi greenfish, I'm new here too. Just to say that more often than not I get the same message upon boot up as well using Windows 7 x64. Occasionally it doesn't occur, however, and RadeonPro 64bit is running in task manager along with the 32bit version...

    Hello japamd,

Another new user here wanting to thank you for your work and effort with Radeonpro. I've tried about 30 games with it and it's simply essential now. Being able to add SMAA, force framerates, refresh rates and triple buffering, along with all the vsync options from within one tool is just terrific and much appreciated.

However, also wanted to report that I've found a few games that crash upon exiting/quitting for me, for example Max Payne 3 (Steam), Deus Ex Human Revolution (Steam) and NFS: Most Wanted (2012) (Origin).

Windows crash report seems to indicate it's AppProfiles.dll which is causing it... Do you know if there's anything I can try to solve? Tried all the various disabling options in the settings/compatibility list tab but none of those help unfortunately. I've also tried just adding the games to RP without actually changing/forcing any settings, but they still crash when exiting.

Cheers in advance for any pointers and thanks again for the brilliant program.

    Yes

In ArmA 2 I have active TB if I use D3DOverrider (don't have error message when game start and in RP OSD TB is active).

In ArmA 2: CO I have FPS and OSD overlay only if I use -winxp in game shortcut and TB is on don't need to use D3DOverrider

Log file from arma2.exe RP FPS+OSD overlay and TB (D3DOverrider) work:

Just wanted to toss out a request for Tera to be added to the pulldowns for compat profiles for RP, if i use the ut3 mode i get errors about launching the game with the launcher(that is when i launch if with the launcher....)

I found tweaking the profile could as much as double fps in some cases.

    http://tera.enmasse.com/

its not free to play so shouldnt be a problem for japamd to grab it and maybe even add an hbao profile for it(the build in is disabled by many people because it has such a massive perf hit, and honestly dosnt do much visually, and by some reports from early on, it can mess with crossfire scaling for some people)

thanks japamd cant i love radeon pro, the new features are kickass....btw, smaa works wonderfully in tera.....

thanks for your hard work :D

    skyrim's AA doesn't work with amd/ati cards. fxaa/smaa/sweetfx are a must.

RP comes in handy with fxaa+smaa on, smooth edges everywhere :)
