AMD accuses former executives for stealing secrets before joining NVIDIA

It said that they are doing something about it in court... :3eyes:

This is just another item in the recent litany of bad/sad news for AMD's management team. They seem inept enough that we should probably expect them to run for public office soon. :infinity:

 

what did AMD think was gona happen when they started to canalize the working staff cause there where to many heads? what they did is just deserts for that, even if it is ilegal

 

A short while ago AMD released a driver outta this world, i'm sure Nvidia wouldn't mind some of that magic to rub off on some of theirs, that's topic i was responding to.

 

My word the amount of Nvidia fanboys throwing accusations around, always blaming AMD.

If people would actually read the article, instead of letting that "tool" section of the brain also known as "fanboy" kick in, they would know that the information was stolen. Read the details. It's no publicity stunt....yeesh. uke2:

 

I always thought Nvidia as being Like Apple. The story is like this :

Nvidia : " We can offer a job "
Former AMD guy : " Yes Please"
Nvidia : "You know what we can offer you .....
Former AMD guy : "Yes?"
Nvidia : " but what can YOU offer or BRING to us in return ? .... wink wink "
Former AMD guy : "err ..... what you mean ??".
Nvidia : "HEELLLOOO is anybody home ?"
Former AMD guy : " OHH that 'BRING' ?. Yes I can 'BRING' alright."
Nvidia : "Great get on to it. Then job is yours"
Former AMD guy : "Sir yes Sir"

The rest is History. He got the job and we have these accusations.

 

I see it more as a few angry employees trying to get even, there's been a lot of cutbacks going on. Won't know more about it until the court dates but it looks like AMD is playing it safe and not making any accusations against Nvidia.

 

I never would work for a Chinese Boss like in Nvidia. Just look to China how much Chinese kill themself and they all have Chinese Boss.

 

You need everything, no matter what, when your company is one of the few that exist for the entire world. For so many years, only Intel and AMD were for CPUs... I guess the management they need ain't the same with your neighborhood's supermarket.

just because a company has more then one department doesnt mean that every department needs a president and a vice president. or do you think every supermarket in your local chain has a president aswell?

There is nothing this guy could steal from AMD that could possibly be good enough for nVidia to risk taking it. They're not stupid.

In all honesty, this seems more like a hail mary attempt at setting up nVidia so they can get a few billion from a lawsuit to keep them afloat for a while longer.
