By default it's on your C:\. You don't need to touch that unless you're out of space.

Go to Control Panel>System and Security>System.
    Or open Computer> System properties.

On the left hand side pane there's an Advanced System Settings tab. Open it and go to the advanced tab. Click on the settings button of the Performance section. Go to the advanced tab. There's an option called Virtual Memory that has a change button. Click it and set the page file to whatever you feel like.

Keep the PF on your first partition.

You hve 4 gig's, you can "try" running with no paging file and see how that works.

Very few programs demand a paging file anymore.

4 gigabytes of system memory and no PF with Windows 7 x64 is really pushing it. You can try it; however, I don't suggest turning the page file off until 8gB.

Well in your first post you asked
so I replied accordingly. To answer your other question, I think it will make a difference only if you move to another physical drive. If its is on the same drive there won't be any difference.

I advise you keep the PF on your C:

    No.
4 GB is nothing these days.

I think Photoshop is one such application which needs a PF.

If you have SSD move PF to non ssd drive.
