The cpu and Zalman 12x have been lapped and I am considering doing the same to the vf3000s.

I should have tried for the 'strobed mirror' effect. lol

My new rig with ancient memory/cpu/mobo lol, upgrading that next year.
This is keeping up pretty well still with every game throwing at it.

This is my third or fourth rig in 2 years :D
I Fkng love building rigs, and spending lots of money on it.

This is what my rig looks like at the moment while on vacation. I left my case at home because it was too heavy haha. I bought a cheap monitor and a Japanese keyboard.

Dave keeps bugging me about posting my old dog here. I just put in a new SSD and some more RAM, so I took the opportunity to do a full rebuild. Pulled everything to pieces and replaced all tubing, cleaned watercooling parts in vinegar etc etc. Took me a few days.

This system used to be pretty beefy, and it's still plenty fast for my needs these days as I don't really play games anymore and I've moved all of my storage needs to a file server. Although, I would really like a new GPU so I might have to to do something about that in a not too distant future. When my life changes priorities again I might do a full rebuild, in the same case because I love this case!

In case anyone's interested I run 2 separate loops, one for CPU alone and one for GPU/motherboard. Both have a Termochill PA120.3 rad and a Laing D5 pump.

Now that's a proper PC, a mixture of old skool (including modding and customising) and new tech. Not like these fancy pants matching colour scheme PCs of late with all-in-one water cooling. :D

I particularly like your PWM cooling (2x 70mm Athlon64 stock cooler fans).

Doesn't look the same without the bank of HDD's and the anally retentive SATA cables all stacked and zip tied together! :p

They're still there there's just less of them :D Looks good.

Johns reaction to using an SSD for the first time was priceless.

Good God, my server case is even older. I feel like the grandfather of performance computing.

@ Dave: you're making me sound even more outdated than I am. :(
