How can i force supersampling with ATI?

    It doesn't work in CCC...

Sinds i can't use ENB, it crashes with white screen on Windows 8, i might as well bump up AA quality and .ini tweaks.

I found something intresting it's a rumor but who knows,

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is to receive two more expansion packs from Bethesda – including one that focuses on the long-lost Snow Elves and yes, even the Dwarves. The last DLC will involve the choosing of a new King of Skyrim and the war against the elves. A source close to Bethesda posted a detailed report on Reddit:

There are 2 more paid DLC expansions planned – both of them true expansions like Dragonborn (one is a bit smaller, one is larger). Without giving a lot away, the next DLC will explore the beginnings of the Nords and Skyrim’s culture, as well as the Snow Elves and yes, even the Dwarves. The last DLC will involve the choosing of a new King of Skyrim and the war against the elves.
Nothing is weighing down more heavily on their morale than the PS3 DLC issue. They aren’t being bribed by Microsoft, and they are just simply thumbing their noses at PS3 users – they genuinely want to get the product out there and have simply been met with problem after problem. It isn’t just one thing, it’s a large number of issues that have acted as roadblocks to them releasing content on the PS3.
Once PS3 content is fixed and working (which is all but there), expect not just to see paid DLC but a few unpaid content enhancement packs (think along the same vein as mounted combat).
A few specific things that were mentioned is a few follower enhancements, including a vendor that sells special gear for your followers, and a special April 1 content update that reaches back to one of their previous games and proves that they aren’t above making fun of themselves.
Spears are coming. Something that frustrates him is that players datamined info about the Riekling spear attack and assumed spears were coming in Dragonborn, and the outcry of some in the community was predicted by him when we talked last week. Here’s the thing – spears can’t be added yet.
“Without giving a lot away, the next DLC will explore the beginnings of the Nords and Skyrim’s culture, as well as the Snow Elves and yes, even the Dwarves. The last DLC will involve the choosing of a new King of Skyrim and the war against the elves.”

Good call, but wait for the opportune moment i say. Like, when Dragonporn for PC gets released. Might be better to start a new char will all those fixes & stuff. Mods prob will only make things worse.

Not even that. Blaming consoles for a lack of one more weapon type is stupid. It has nothing to do with limitations of hardware (if it can display the anim of a two handed weapon attack, its the same procedure/requirements for any other weapon anim).

Anyone using a ENB preset from the Nexus? What's the best one out there?

Skyrim doesn't seem to like my new 7770 :(

It is constantly at 98-99%, but people with a 5770 get even better performance.

I don't use any texture mod, only the DLC from Bethesda.
And for mods, only the enhanced cities mod, and pure waters.

Its hard to understand without any figures and the settings you use.

Ultra settings, but i might figured it out. It still gives little spikes when i rotate though.

    But nothing disturbing.

Not much to figure out if running Ultra at 1920x1080.

With no mods, just using Beth HiRes pack (fixed bugs of coarse) and current available DLC's @ 1920x1080 Ultra setting you'll be hitting 1GB+ of video memory use as soon as the game starts.
I chew about 1.4GB ~ 1.5GB video memory with those settings on GTX 670.

On my 1GB Sli GTX 560's I use High settings, 4xAA, view distance max everything @ 1920x1080 and I sit on 980MB ~ 1007MB video memory.
I also disable desktop composition for Skyrim with the 560's.

there was a console command which lets you start all over again your character creation.

    damn man.

    edit:

showracemenu - Brings up the race selection/character customization menu. NOTE: This will reset your character to level 1 and all your skills to their initial base values.

    this i guess.

and what is good with shield and sword combo? NORDs? and heavy armor or light armor?

You can really do any Race that you want in Skyrim, they don't really penalize you for doing a Warrior on a HIgh Elf or a Mage on an Orc etc. like the earlier games did. So pick whatever you like since by the time you're Level 10 or so it's all going to be pretty even. :) With that said the Racial Powers do make a difference so I'd choose Orc, Redguard, or Nord as the 3 "best" options. Also, definitely go for Heavy Armor if you want to get up close and hit things. ;)

If anything, if you know what you want to use as a weapon in the game, choose a race which doesn't give you bonuses for them, free extra levels

This. The performance hit of ultra shadows is insane in Skyrim. With my rig I get good fps, but sometimes it stutters when turning with shadows at ultra.

I play with shadows at high, with enb for enhanced shadows (removes the striped shadows + jaggies) for only a 5% performance hit on my old HD5850, which is now unnoticable as my fps is always maxed at 60 no matter what with the 660.
