In the AMD driver page it means the .net4 driver has net framework installer included. Both of the drivers actually require .NET4.x. One comes with installer, one not.

If you already have .NET 4.x installed just download the other file as its smaller.

They break DXVA decoding. I have ugly artifact on video (h.264) and it seems only lav work fine, but ffdshow, mpc and microsoft have artifact. Downgraded to 12.10 WHQL and there is no problem.

New issues with 12.11 beta 11
-Resume from sleep mode results in a black screen
-Using common task "Extend display" (HDMI SAMSUNG) prevents changing default sound playback devices. Reboot fixes this.

I already saw others reporting the black screen issue. Can anyone confirm the extend display / hdmi audio issue?

DXVA was fixed in Beta 11 and it's fine on my system with MPC HC since then.

I got the same issue with sound configuration on a LG TV. Restarting the machine helps here also.... I had same problems with 12.10 WHQL and 12.11 beta 8.

@12.8 WHQL everything is fine with the sound...

Ok. Reporting to AMD via feedback form. I'm sure it will get fixed in the following 10 months :)

I have no sound when I connect via HDMI to the tv with 12.11's. Sound still plays through the computer speakers though and not the tv like 12.8's did.

    Any work around for this?

That was a different problem, where the display was blank. The artefact issue with beta 11 is still present and not fixed. No problems in any other driver.

Working well in BF3, TF2 and Far cry 3. Still get occasional flicker in Windows when scrolling though.

I'm not experiencing the black screen issue when coming out of sleep mode. Using a 7950 with monitor connected to HDMI.

    - No corruption on 12.11 Beta 11 with VLC (2.0.4 stable 32-bit Windows) with and without GPU accelerated decoding

    - Corruption when playing with Chrome (stable 23 Windows) with VLC plugin

Hey, I have a similar issue, but it's not from resuming the PC from sleep mode. I'm just doing random things in desktop, sometimes gaming and I would get a black screen as if the monitor is dead or disconnected. ctlr+atl+del doesnt help. I have to manually power off the machine which is dumb cause it damages the system.

Does this only happen with 12.11 Beta, or has it happened in the past also? There's some article around that mentions that certain manufacturers use some kind of bad component on the GPU that causes a lot of "noise", and that noise can cause the GPU signal to the monitor to go out.
