Well I finially got around to downloading this game. I'm wondering, does Uplay automatically update it? I just want to make sure I have the latest version installed. According to the .exe details is says current version is 1.2.2.0

    Thanks.

Well the PC version is about 16.8GB once everything is installed. Not sure about your other questions. I haven't started playing yet.

I wonder when Amazon will have the digital deluxe version on sale. I am an idiot for waiting too long to pre-order it before it jumped up in price.

I prefer the original, it looks more realistic.
SweetFX has a cartoony look to it, its overly coloured.
It may be down to different monitor / display configs.

It looks more brown/yellow to me with SweetFX.

These guys are legit. I have used them quite a few times for Steam and Origin games. I usually get my keys within 5 or less after I have paid them.

Prefer the to the top one myself, though both remind me of using either the warm or cool colour temp on my TV.

No right or wrong, all personal preference.

Need to get back to playing this, really enjoyed what i saw but unfortunately gaming has dropped way down my priority list these days.

Ya you are right. I'm more of a "cool colors" guy myself.

I prefer medium/neutral, but when learning about TV calibration I discovered Warm is the accepted standard in film, which I'm guessing is why it's so often the default in many games now.

Hoho..everybody have different taste of course, but for me i think newer titles like AC 3, farcry 3, sleeping dogs have ugly blue tint..Sleeping dogs is the most of all imo...That's why i made my own taste :)

I like natural lighting and in reality we got blueish shadows and yellowish sunlight. Cant understand why games seem to have either way or the other, you'd need to combine both to get realistic colors. I think Halflife1 was the last game that had it. (Render options in worldcraft / hammer can have different RGB values for highlights and shadows)

Bluish shadow in reality? I don't know in Germany but in my place shadow is black surely...not pitch black...depends on ambient light
