Stutters awfully on mu 5970 even with 60+ fps

 

Try gpu buffer 3 and water to medium. If that doesnt help try 3d overrider or ingame settings: msaa and postfx.

 

or radeon pro DFC.

 

Gain +8 fps for me, 1920x1200 Ultra + 2x with my older 5970@850/1250.

48 fps => 56 fps.

Guys, a stupid question, but how exactly do you install it?

I mean I'm on a 64bit system, it installs the profiles to Program Files(x86)\Ati Technologies\Application Profiles\

But in CCC there are no "existing" application profiles. So where exactly should it go and blah blah, cause I don't really understand. They should appear under existing application profiles in CCC right?

w00t, right now when I wanted to create a profile for fc3d11.exe, it said there already is a predefined profile, but where is it? I mean, will it automatically then run when I run the game?

You do not need to do anything. The profile is installed and is working automaticly. Its a DRIVER profile, you will NOT see it in application profiles in the CCC.

Application profiles is for YOU to set up things like vsync, AA, AF for different games. It is NOT the same thing as CAPs, which are driver profiles for different games to boost performance, add Crossfire support or fix bugs.

Forcing AFR in CCC and running in DX9 mode with everything maxed out Except MSAA at x2. Running nicely now at locked 60 fps vsync. DX11 is still no go, stutter fest.

 

Why not? I installed it using 12.6 legacy..
