Why would you get a flickr account just to upload 720 x 405 images....

I absolutely agree. I've already called out the terrain textures. Any time I look at the ground, this game looks really awful. Obvious console limitations are obvious.

There were issues during other times of day. I've since switched to DX11 so I can drop my downsampling resolution in favor of a little MSAA. Better performance.

If sweetFX ever works in DX11 mode (for nvidia users), I'll get back to it.

 

Just sorting out the last couple of blue mission icons in Far Cry 3, then it's off to find all those letters and relics and exploring the island properly, ha ha.

 

Farcry 3 "Maxed Out" 1080p resolution, 4X AA and "Enhanced" Alpha aliasing

 

After looking at these graphics looking at console graphics makes me puke. not even xbox 720 or ps4 can match those graphics

 

@Penal Stingray 4x GTX580 for a 1080p monitor? is it 120hz? Nice shots.

Farcry 3 2560x1600 4x EQAA + MLAA ( I find it better than FXAA and SMAA for this game) DX11 with SweetFX.

 

yes 1080p im using my 50 inch 3D tv plasma as a monitor sometimes i switch to my lil 27 inch sammy

He said he's using sweetfx. I would imagine through radeon pro. I don't know how that works... but I know AMD card users can do it.

EQAA stands for Enhanced Quality Anti Aliasing. The colors are set with SweetFX.
